Well that is what I was hoping to avoid. I just got rid of a Jeep for drive line vibrations and bought a a brand new truck figuring I wouldn't have to deal with this.

I've experienced the same problem on my TRD OR. Anybody got their's fixed or is the dealership refusing to fix or look at it?

Lol yeah this is for sure something a new truck shouldn't be troubled with. Take it to the dealer and make them worry about it. Make sure to let them know "it's a characteristic of the truck" is an unacceptable answer and to call you when it's finished.

My next door is a Toyota Corp. big shot. He claims, that when a Toyota comes of the assembly only 1 in 100 are aligned. First thing I did was get my new truck aligned, glad I did cuz she was way off and toed in....

Yes before bulletin, bought truck Feb 25 2016. Once my neighbor knew I was getting another Toyota, which I've had several. He said "get it allinged first thing." Got her done with 21 miles on it never had a problem! and it took some effort, to get it right, by my allingment guys...put 5100's all around at the same time Kevlar tires too...

I have a TRD-OR MT and have this problem. It's a little less noticeable after I did 5100's at the first notch in the front and put 1/2" shims in the rear, along with Duratracs, but it's still there from time to time. If they aren't willing to do the work I guess I'll look into at least getting the steering damping myself since it's a pretty cheap part it looks like.

This was my first new vehicle with a warranty, and I thought it would take care of little things like this that came up. Toyota has been absolutely worthless for addressing issues like this drivetrain vibration and the hesitation/jerkiness under partial throttle acceleration. I still like the truck and don't plan to get rid of it, because it more than meets my needs. However, given my poor experience with Toyota's service departments I will say this is the last new car I ever buy from them. Looking to replace my wife's Camry next year, so they're going to miss out on that sale.
