We are no longer required to have a front license plate in Ohio. The first thing I did was rip my rusted front plate off. Now I have a ugly piece of plastic screwed into my front bumper with rust stains. I yanked that off too but now I have 2 holes drilled into my front bumper that looks like crap on my 17 Tacoma. I guess I'm going to put another plate of some sort back on the front.
I'm looking for ideas. Maybe something with a Toyota theme. What do you guys have?

    I envy you guys.

Put some plugs in the holes and be happy?

This was my solution for our front plate, you might do something like this, but nicer, for a plate that you actually care about. Haha!

You could always get an aftermarket plate bumper.

Why didn’t you use the factory front plate mount? It’s a lot more attractive than that setup.

I was happy to remove the stupid front plate too but thankfully don't have any holes to fill on my truck.

Hah! I figured you moved out west from a state that didn’t have front plates and might not realize there’s a OEM solution. Glad you’re happy with your setup.

The OEM mount looks like a freaking shoebox mounted to the front bumper, ugly af!

I dont miss mississippi much, but I do love their no vehicle inspections and no front plates policy.

For my tastes I think it looks pretty stout. I much prefer it over directly mounting a plate to the bumper.
