    soooo.
I bought the 20 dollar catch can off ebay. it doesn't have a internal mesh inside. so I'm running an inline gas filter off the catch can going back to the motor. this way I can see if the can isn't doing its job. if it isn't ill up grade to the better on.
first thing I did for this set up was tighten all the lines, bolts and what not on the can, cause they were all loose. bought fuel lines. I drilled a hole in the center of the bracket and mounted it on the driver side fender, there was already a threaded insert there. Reason i drilled a hole in the cneter was this way the brakcet wasnt attached only n one side, and it looks better this way. I popped off the old lines. cut the new fuel lines to size and clamped then down. I didn't take the engine cover off but did take that bracket everyone has said to remove to make it easier.

i will. i was lookin at the lil sight gauge on the side of the can, its cool buuuut a lot of oil will have to biuld up in that thing before it shows up. like 2 years worth of driving, im readin guys empty it out every 1000 miles or when they change their oil

Can anyone post a pict indicating where the catch can attaches to the engine on a 2012 v6?
I think I know but just want to be sure before I install a can. Thanks.

First Oil Change after I installed the catch can. Got a decent amount of oil out of it. Attached are pictures of the location of the can and the amount of oil drained. Time was 4 months and distance was 5,025 miles.

I have read a few articles on web sites that I won't mention where the guys act like we are full of shit to waste our time installing a catch can. If the pictures above are not good enough reason, I guess they don't give a damn about their trucks.

    Nixinus,
Which model do you have, the micro? Someone posted a link to this and it looks like the one I'll go with:

    http://www.saikoumichi.com/micro_oil_catch_can_tank.htm

Welded seams, internal baffling, USA-made, and $50.
