    I didnt check it out of the box. I siliconed all the fittings/seals and then checked it. its air tight after the silicone.

    So, first hurdle cleared I think. There was a hole in the wheel well right below where I wanted to mount the can. I popped the rubber grommet out and tried to fit the drain adapter through the hole. It fit perfectly! So, my thoughts are to run it off the wheel well structure and have it drain into the wheel well when i need to drain it, should work out perfect... Only thing that may stand in the way is the structural integrity since it will be supported by the bottom housing connections. It feels really solid and doesn't move at all. I have to get a few washers to make it complete but it should be all done by the end of the week. Here are a few pics, any thoughts by what you can see?

    i think i would worry if you do any offroading and having your tire hit the drain.. that would be a lot of flex but not impossible IMO. looks good other than that

    Yea, that was just so you could see where it exits. I'm going to replace it with a shorty version when i can get to the store to find a better fitting. The hose I got is rated to 300 psi and is pretty rigid which will also help it stay put for the long run.

    Everything went pretty smooth. I'll have to take it easy for a while and make sure I don't get close to my fitting in the wheel well. It is definitely out of the travel path of the suspension but crazier sh!* has happened...

    Just shy of 22,000 as of yesterday. I bought it 11/11/11 with 7 miles on the clock

    No Prob, hope more people do this mod, its so simple and you get so much out of it IMO. I never knew how much oil was sent back into the intake creating sludge :eek:

    Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
    I've been :spy: on this thread for a bit. A question comes to mind.

    Most of us have vee motors. Afaict, everyone on this thread has a vee motor. Vee motors have two valve covers. Two valve covers means two crankcase breathers. Yet I see only the driver's side breather being accessed.

    Has anyone tried venting both breathers?

    Was under the impression there is only one PCV valve. IIRC there is only one breather.

    @mach375, there is only one PCV valve. It is on the driver side rear valve cover. Both sides of the V vent through it.

    I have roughly 200 miles with my separator in place and I got curious today. Opened the valve, and maybe a teaspoon, or less came out. Good to see it is working :) I'll go for 1K then measure what I get and post pictures.
