Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
    PCV valve, yes- only one.
But there is also a vent on the passenger-side valve cover. While I haven't taken everything off to access it yet, I have felt around under there, poked around with a flashlight, and there is a ~17mm tube going from the VC to the intake hose just before the throttlebody.
    But only one PCV valve.

^ Okay, so to answer you question about the passenger side vent...

~Oil in the intake frequently comes from the make-up air system. There are two connections to the crankcase (often through the valve cover) on most modern engines, one for the PCV valve, and the other for make-up air. The make-up air one will typically be plumbed into the intake system before the throttle body, but after the filter. In normal gentle operation, it usually lets filtered air into the crankcase so that the PCV valve doesn't draw a vacuum inside the engine. On hard acceleration, the MUA system (PCV Valve) lets excess blowby in the crankcase vent to the intake, so that it is drawn through the engine and burned.~

    Does this help explain?

    Yes, yes it does.

However, doesn't a vacuum situation in the crankcase help the piston rings seal better? That has been my understanding.

Make sure that stainless braided stuff doesn't touch anything. Stainless is harder than most any material in the engine bay and with vibration those ribbons will cut into anything. It'll eat through a vacuum line fairly quickly if there's pressure on it.

I put a remote filter on my first car with that stuff and had a heck of a time with hose routing. Everything it touched was getting eaten up.

I may have to do this mod... intake sludge-o-crud sucks!

i dont know if you trashed it, but on the OEM hose there was a foam sleeve that slid on, i slid it off and cut it in half and put it on my hoses where they touched stuff. looks OEM, you might be able to see it in my pics

    edit:
look in the second pic, you can see it

^ Yea it looks like you are not going to be able to fit it where we have been putting ours... Somewhere on or around the inner fender well might work? or on the frame down in the front left? Good luck.
