Noticeable? Not really, but I do have a warm and fuzzy feeling knowing my intake is free nasties and in the future there should be no sludge buildup.

I installed a catch can after reading this!! Thanks a million. What a great idea, but some of my friends have there doubts! Like does your mpg go down? That was about there only argument. I would rather have that oil out of my intake. Hopefully there are no other side effects. Only thing I can think of is, if you let it fill to the top and you get a big blast of oil right in there, or if you are ripping down a bumpy cut line and the little bit of oil splashes right into that intake hose! That couldn't be good!!! My fix is to empty it as often as possible. How about putting it back into your engine oil!? If you have no where else to dispose of it?

If you check it often after first installing it, you will get an idea of how much oil it collects. Then considering the size of the can/reservoir, you can gauge how often you will need to empty it. Different types of driving may produce more catchings but I doubt the amount will vary significantly over the same number of miles.
Since the oil in the can has been vaporized and then condensed again, it is probably filthy dirty and I would not recommend putting it back into the engine. But if no other container is available and you have nowhere else to put it, it probably won't do much harm to put it in the motor, if you must. But again, definitely not recommended.

I imagine if anything your MPG's would stay the same for longer since less engine gunk is building up. But im no expert.
Just keep it empty enough so there isnt oil right there.
I wouldnt recommend putting it in your engine, looks nasty.
Just keep it in a cup and add it when you change your oil

Yup, It'l be the only one I have to install for the life of the the truck. I've dealt with moroso cans on track cars before and knew it was going to be what I wanted connected to my engine. I don't mess around when it comes to the reliability of that.

No problem, really enjoy the warm fuzzies knowing that nasty oil isn't in my intake! I mean double that amount to get what you would have after 1k miles and then multiply that by 100,000. That is a lot of garbage down your intake track!

yeah even doing it every oil change, 3000 miles, is crazy to see the amount that would go inside the engine
