I have a 2016 Tacoma 6 cylinder and I am looking for the correct size oil cap filter wrench. All the ones i have seen on Amazon or ebay say 4 cylinder would they be the same size?

73mm 14 flute oil filter cap wrench

edit: my mistake, this is for the 1st and 2nd gen V6.
    3rd gen uses 64mm.

    Not for the 2GR.

It is a 64mm wrench, the one that Redfishcatcher15 posted looks to be of good quality.

No worries, it is correct for 1995-2015 V6 models and 1995-2017 L4 models, just not the 2016-2017 V6.

A word to the wise. There are some cheap stamped metal ones at your local auto parts store that are huge pieces of crap. I bought one because I didn't want to wait for the Motive one to be shipped. First time I used it worked perfect. Second time I used it the part where the 3/8th ratchet attaches broke. The whole thing was thin metal and this part was a little thicker. Problem is the 2 parts were welded together and the weld didn't hold. I used another oil filter wrench I had laying around to finish the job and took it back to get my money back. Since then I've ordered the Motive and it is far superior to that one. Do yourself a favor and just get the good one from the start. :)

Get the Ti one. When you are working over your head the extra weight sucks.

it says on the packaging it has "14 flutes"--does it not? If not bring it back and exchange it.

Got a photo of the bottom side?
