Hello, I want to add syntetic oil to my new truck. Should I change the intervals to 10.000km or 15.000km beetwen changes?? My old truck (a 08Silverado) used syntetic oil and i followed the Oil Monitor, It has intervals about 25.000km.. So Why cannot I give to the toyota at least 10.000km or 15.000km with a syntetic oil?

Or should i keep dyno or semi-syntec oil and change every 5k?

    yv,
What does the owner's manual specify?
I always follow the owner's manual since I figure the manufacturer knows best. Also handy in case of warranty claims.
Worked for me for over fifty years.

I use Mobile 1 and change it at every recommended interval - which is 5,000 miles.
