My truck had 120,000 when i bought it fromy dad. He always used penzoil and i switched it to Mobil 1 soon after i got it. The Mobil 1 would turn dark very early for the first few changes, now still looks good at 4500-5000 and runs stronger than ever. I will never use anything else from now on. 186,000 on it now.

 

Trust me. Your way of doing it is fine. Trust yourself and work within your own constraints. My way is not the right way. It's just my way. Stay cool!

 

I actually did use to do my own when i was living at home, but after moving out on my own and such, i find it easier to go the dealer route. Maybe once i get my new house built i will start back to doing it.
