Ok.... All I want is remote start & keyless entry

is there any way to get a remote start for my 6sp? I have the clutch start cancel switch, wonder if there would be a way to either have it always on or find a way to activate it when the remote start was pushed.

 

There is. A switch is installed so that it will only start the truck if it's left in neutral, and you shut the truck down using a specific process. It's sort of a fail safe so it cannot just be started accidentally if you forget and leave the truck in gear.

I am just going off personal knowledge here, if someone actually knows exactly how to install one, please chime in!

EDIT: picture is way too friggin big, click link for the pic of the 1100 remote, and it works fine on my manual transmission.

Is it worth going with the Toyota brand remote starter?

 

Maybe the Gen3 offers one, but with my Gen2 the dealer option was a Viper with a Toyota sticker over it.
