Just bought a 2001 Tacoma 4wd, standard cab. I can't find where the fog light switch is. I read the manual , but i guess i could have missed it.

It should be on the left hand side below your vent and if not then I would check to see if it is aftermarket, in which case the switch could be anywhere.

did you bought it through the owner of the vehicle or the dealer. the owner might have placed the button in replacement of another one. or he just put the lights on there for the "look"

Do you actually have fog lights? I don't think any Tacoma came with them.

Go with GREENBEAN, I've got a 2002 tacoma with parking lights. If you look under mods there is a posting how to change them over to fog lights.

This is too funny! 8 years!

I would say it's fair game to derail this old of a thread.

My 2004 has no fog light switch or dash blanks. I didn't even know this. I built the bumper for the thing to include fogs, only to find out I had no place to put the switch. My damn 2002 TRD Tundra had a fog light switch, so I just assumed the 2 year newer Tacoma TRD would have a switch. Now I got to find some way to mount a switch that wont look all VatoZone. I really don't want to hack the dash up.

It's still a viable truck and this is still a viable question.

I don't have any fog light switch.
