    2.7L 3RZ,K&N filter, 4" deck plate mod,flowmaster 40 series,3" body lift,3" suspension lift,35's. I also have another tacoma a 97 with a 350 small block in it on a 1972 blazer frame...
ok so me...being the large tire and tire fitment guru...decide to take off my 35x12.50x15 tires on 15x8.5" wheels with 3.75" backspacing... and mount balance and install a old set of 36x14.50x16 TRXUS STS's I have on a set of 16x8 eagle wheels (that I tried selling but no one wanted)... so the tires are a bit wider and the wheels have 4" backspacing... thats .25" of a difference from old wheels. Well the tires have these flame shaped lugs on sides one small then a medium then huge then medium etc and guess what the front tires will go on and clear the upper A arm...till you turn them and one of the bigger flames comes up and hits...hard enough to lock front tires ...hmmmmm lol so now thinking of getting wheel spacers for truck just so I can run these things bald till snow and put my like new 35's back on

I'll take some tommorow the tires are off the truck now ofcourse...but man I couldnt believe it...if it wasnt for the fancy flames on the sides they would fit fine...thought of trimming them off but after wrestling the tires onto the rims and onto a balancer then back into bed of truck then onto the truck....I was kinda red faced and just took them off and set aside for now LOL

they are like new and with me just buying this house i thought I should keep them for just winter use (they are great in snow) so i would just run the old swampers till they are bald ...the swampers had never been on this truck and I had been trying to get rid of the eagle wheels anyhow...so i took 2 things that were just laying around and put them together to get some use out of them..you know...kinda feel like it was wasted money if they lay in the garage all the tiem and no one wanted them sooo I'll use them

yeah I may still take and throw all 4 of the sts's on tommorow and just take a pictue lol...dunno but they LOOK sweet on there and another funny thing is this...they are low on tread and still measure 36.25 inches tall...when was last time you saw a tire taller then its advertised height? a buddy of mine bought BRAND new swamper tsl's 38x13x16 and my worn out sts radials are taller ...both were mounted on rims with air off the vehicles when we compared them...he feels jipped...its hilarious

PS. why dont some of you other guys that are looking in here comment? hell call me an idiot or something atleast... I know I felt like one after putting like 2 hrs into getting these things ready to mount then them not fitting
