After reading ryrydtl's post, I did not want to squat on his I have a question for the guys that know.

I have pretty good vision still 20/30 on distance but ever since that 40 birthday I have been needing help up close as most folks do.
Hardening of the cornea I believe it is called.

I have allways been an iron sight kind of guy and that seems to becoming a problem, so do any of these dot sight setups work for old farts with a set of cheaters for reading?

I stuck a EER pistol scope on my AR with a rail and with my cheaters on it seemed I could see the reticle well but I don't think it will work with them on for the target picture???????

I'd seriouly consider a Aimpoint Comp M2 or another Aimpoint with a 4 moa dot. Madpipe might have an extra over at AZshooting since I bowed out of buying one from him. $350 and it's brand new. I ended up getting a ML3 otherwise I would have bought the Comp M2.
