Hey y'all new to Tacoma word (and truck threads) I just installed my first set of old man emu shocks on my 1.5 gen tundra (06 access cab TRD) I thought 2 inches sounded pretty like just enough for now, but after intallinst the front they sit super high and the ball joints look super annoyed think all this will settle? Was planning on Uniball but gotta come up with cash how long should I be able to last on stock?
    (They are on hd springs)

OME 2885 springs? What are HD springs?
Shocks don't provide lift. Springs do.

Did you do the Diff Drop? Did you take measurements before and after? Just because something is advertised as "x" lift, doesn't mean it is going to be exactly that.
How many days since you installed the new parts? Are you going to add any weight to the front of vehicle?

No diff drop, I'm a prerunner.. I just have a lsd. And yes the 885 coils. Starting to regret it cuz it looks a little obnoxious. Unless it settles. Idk what to do I got the Anitrochsrger shocks &ARB add a leaf and the back feels so good but the front suspension feels like it's sitting on 4 hockey pucks glued together :rain::poking:

I didn't know they sold a 2wd with TRD off road stickers. Weird!

You might need a softer spring.
    2884 might be more appropriate.

You might want to look into upper control arms to help with that angle

Honestly I had 5100s on my last Toyota and it was a little better cuz it was adjustable,
Honestly 5100s are good, had them on my last truck they are adjustable if you don't like how they sit at first, but ya if you go emu it seems like UCAs might be a must. Also the stock coils on 5100s sucked, eibach or emu coils on 5100s are legit. Jerry I'll buy camburgs tomorrow if you help me install them, I'm local. Orange county
