Do the 880, 881 and 882s have an "x" model?

    I'm a 1st gen, not 2nd.

I see now, i didnt adjust the caster settings. I took them straight out of the box and put them on with the logos facing out. I thought sliding them in or out on the arm adjusted caster. I'm tarded with this alignment stuff.

Alright. I think my caster numbers are ok (right?). Shouldn't need to mess with those. Just debating if I want to reposition the camber setting of the ball joint so they're symmetrical. Really, it's probably like a few millimeters but I'm OCD.

Not sure, I'm a second gen. I know the 884s and up are X models. If the earlier springs had the same issue, I would hope they would do the same with those. If no one on here knows, just e-mail a 4wheel shop like Wheeler's and ask. Dan@wheelersoffroad.com is who I dealt with a lot leading up to my purchase.

I knew there was a reason I'm on TW, that post was stupid if it didn't tell you any useful info... Which your question leads me to believe.

Evan and BJB have filled you in on the newer X model coils, and I'll tell you about the rears. The Dakar is an expedition leaf pack: long term off road abuse with a truck full of shit. They won't sag, but they won't flex as much as the All Pooh leaf packs.

I am going to get a full OME system at some point. The only question I have is if extended brake lines are needed to install the Dakar pack? I will not be doing serious off-roading. Thanks in Advance.

Have any of you all cut the excess off your ubolts? Those things are way too long. No way to get a socket on them. I had to just hand torque them with a wrench.

Cut them on my 95. Used an angle grinder with a cutoff disc. You don't have to be too scientific with it because you shouldn't reuse them.

I'm thinking about busting my dremel out and cutting them down. They're like 2" too long. Even if you used the extra AAL, they're way too long.

I don't have anything stronger :(. It made fairly quick work of the UCA bolts even at an awkward angle.

A better choice, but those high grade bolts will chew up blades.
