My dad has been a front end mechanic for over 40 years out of Austin. Don't go to places like fire stone. Use good judgment and find an old school guy.

Well Doc, it would appear we're talking about your wife. That's a whole different ball of wax when the Mrs. is involved.

Yep. Plus we get a 100% discount and labor. Parts at his cost. It helps. My little lady stays happy not knowing just driving.

First there's a bumper you're supposed to install, and now you tell me you didn't install you're lift? I'm not sure we can be friends.

Good thread. Truck paid for. Be home around mid August. Doing the Ome complete system. There are a lot of Toyota heliux here in afghan. Seen a lot with Ome equipment. If it works for Taliban and his brothers.. It will work for me.

    NEWB QUESTION!!!!!

I have Billy 5100's all the way around. The front Billy is at at 2.5" with a spacer putting me at a full 3". In the rear i have another Billy with a 1.5" block under my stock leaf spring. It rides stiff in the front, which i like. However, I DO NOT like the back end. I am debating on buying a OME Dakar leaf spring to replace the block and the OEM leafs or just buying the complete OME suspension with the Dakar. In my purchase will be a LR UCA as well.

Any suggestions. I don't do any type of offroading at this time with my setup, but would love to do some in the near future. I'm also not talking about doing some extreme offroading with this thing.

Thanks. The Billy's are new. Less than 2,000 miles on them. I'm really not wanting to shell out more money if I have to. Would it be ok do take my truck through some trails with the spacers in the front?
