Are greasable bolts and/or shackles available for 2nd gens with the Dakars? I've looked everywhere. Is there a place that can make them?

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
I liked the ride on 886s unloaded, and still like it loaded with armor. They are still stiff enough that I felt confident removing my sway bar. Love the ride now.

    Worth the investment.

After a long painful few weeks of trying to figure out what seems like the same vibrations a lot of us get ( I have set my drive line angles perfectly) and I still have vibrations throughout the whole truck, I once again crawled under to try to figure out what the f*#$ is causing it. Can anyone see what I'm seeing in these pictures?

I'm not sure if this could be the cause of vibration, but the fwd pass side bushing isn't centered and there is displaced metal on the inside of the bracket where the military wrap is banging against it.

Interesting , one of my Dakar packs was doing the same sideways tracking thing for a while too

Can anyone post some pictures/measurements of their Dakars with the 3rd leaf removed and either 884 or 883 coils?

I'd like to maintain some rake with my camper shell on and cant decide which front coils to get.

I have the third leaf removed and im at 23.5" center of hub to fender. how much does your camper shell weigh? I probably have around 100 lbs in the bed and some added weight from sliders.

I would guess it's 250lbs. If that puts me at 23" or so then I think 884's would be best. I saw someone else with a DCSB that put on 884's and he was at 22" hub to fender. 1" rake is perfect.

    Thanks for the help.

So I just picked up some used 90000 with no boots/dust covers. Would they be ok ran like they are or where can I find some replacements?

That's where I was with my 885x's too. 884x's are 10mm or .39 inches shorter than 885x's so I'm figuring 22" or a hair more with 884x's should be about right.
