Before I send the money, going off yota lovers response, with a relentless bumper (no winch) I should probably go with 886, no spacers, let it settle some and then if there is still too much rake just pull out a leaf from the dakar's? Thanks all for your patience.

You can add spacers later too if it settles a lot. It's something you can order later and add fairly easily. Just need to pull the shocks out and put them on top, no need to take the spring assembly apart.

You should be good to order everything else though. Just do it! Like nike!

yeah i missed it at first then i had to look back at it cause something just looked weird about it, not to mention i bet it rides really awkward due to the perch not set correctly

I'm sure this has been answered somewhere before but my eyes are hurting going through all these posts. On a second generation double cab off road, how much lift are you getting? Closer to 2" or closer to 3"? I thought that OME says about 2" but I swore I read someone saying its about 3". I am talking without the top plate spacers added.

I won't be adding any bumpers or winch so not sure which I need. Is there a lift height difference between 884 and 885?

 

any suggestions on where to get strut top caps from? I've searched and have only seen Monroe and KYB, not 2 of my top choices but i might not have a choice.

just ordered my kit today

went with the 886 upfront with the sport shocks all around. Also went with the Dakars in the rear. Didn't forget the Toyota bushings.

 

Are you planning on adding a bumper/winch in the future? 886s might've been overkill for your current set-up.

 

Going to be picking up my front bumper in a few weeks . With a winch, skids, and sliders, it should be good
