Took my OME set-up for it's first real test yesterday. Nice little off roading park about an hour north of san antonio. Had a lot of fun, need to go back and explore some more. Lot of technical trails, found ourselves turning around a lot. My buddy had a first gen with some sort of crappy 3" lift and a 3" body lift. Could tell my OME set-up had a lot more flex in it than his did. here's a couple pics:

This hill is quite a bit steeper than the picture shows:

They had a fun little mud area to play in too:

Anybody have the dimensions for the nitrocharger sport rear shocks handy?

    Extended and collapsed?

K I'm ordering my OME kit through Cap It, because Canada is rather limited in ARB distributors. I can't find the part # for the top plate spacer. Is it an ARB part number or is it sold by toytec? Is it not recommended to use a spacer with the 886 coils to get a full 3"? I'm ordering the Dakar rear leafs (CSO47R) as well for the rear. I was told by my guy at Cap It that I will only get about 2 3/4" of height out of them. So should I go with the OME add a leaf (DX 29) as well to get all the way up to 3"

ARB doesn't make the top plate spacer, that's sold by other companies like toytec. Do you have a plate bumper and other armor on your truck? I assume you know what you're buying but just wanted to make sure. 886s are stiff and only recommended if you have a lot of extra weight on the truck. You don't really need a full 3" of lift in the rear because the rear already sits higher than the front. I wouldn't do the add-a-leaf unless you have extra weight in the rear as well.

I have an 09 access cab but plan on putting a bumper and winch on eventually... But it might not be for awhile. Should I go with 885's instead? My guy said it wouldn't ride too bad just a little stiff. But I'll listen to the gurus on here over him anyday!

Yeah, that's leaping over the 885s completely. Not sure if I agree with that advice. 884s are recommended for stock regular and access cabs. So I think 885s on an access cab would be better. My advice.....get 885s, install the longer studs on top when you assemble the shocks and when you add the bumper/winch later you can throw some top plate spacers on there to get back whatever amount of lift you lose.

Contact Ouipack, you will get a much better deal from them than you will from Cap-it. Based out of Quebec but even with shipping it will be much cheaper.

The guy at cap it knocked down his price and threw in some real nice window visors as well.

Apparently Oiupack isn't going to be continuing to carry any ARB parts anymore as of Nov. 1st. 2013. I sent them an email, and their reason for this is Ouipack wants to have fair pricing for canadians as well as people stateside (kind of how their business works, they purchase in the states and ship it across the border to an address, where its distributed from. They don't warehouse the product. Which is the loophole). So Ouipack doesn't agree with ARB's Canadian prices or policies. (Although they really like their products). However, they still have some stock in inventory and they are offering very decent deals on what they have available but they are limited. The guy was very helpful even though I didn't end up making the deal with them. A sign of good customer service. I was impressed by both companies, in fact. Which is incredibly rare in this day and age.

Thanks for the info, I'll try to take some pics when I do the install. Maybe do a write up if I have time. You know, try to give something back to the wealth of knowledge on this site, that I have become "completely addicted to" (as the wife puts it).

Called Toytec today. I have 885s and Dakar leafs on their way. I also ordered TC UCAs and shock tower gussets from Downsouth Motorsports, already shipped :p.

Can't wait to install all those goodies.
