Oh , sorry , misread your post

I pulled mine almost all the way out initially

Here's a pic of them on the neutral setting for caster

"E" setting, overall is +1*. I had a lot of rub set at D on the rear of the fender after alignment, so I went back. Told the tech I didn't much give a shit about getting 2.5 caster on the machine, I wanted him to maximize clearance as outlined in Mooses write-up. He did so, and I ended up with 2* caster on the machine.

guess my truck is on the extra heavy side. Taco lean is very noticeable after the lift settled. Had not noticed it before, however today while out for a drive I was walking back to my truck and sure enough I have the taco lean... I did install the 5mm trim packer on the drivers side but upon measuring I am 5/8" lower in the back and almost a whole inch in the front.... I expected a 1/4 to 3/8's even with the spacer but this is pretty bad... Anyhow, should I add another trim packer? top plate spacer? or just carry heavy stuff on that side lol... This is with a mostly full gas tank and nothing in the truck by the way.

What are the hub to fender measurements on flat ground ?

    Which coils ?

    Dakars ?

Did the Dakars have a + or - on them ?

No + or - on the dakars. I used the 885 coils. all I have for weight is sliders.

    PF was 23 1/8" DF was 22 3/16

    PR was 24 7/8" DR was 24 1/8

Are you 100% sure you put the front shock with the trim packer on the driver's side?

Finally installed my Dakar pack. Took out an old 1.5" add a leaf and wow the Dakars ride so much smoother. Barely noticed any more lift, maybe 0.5" but look great.

I am running 884's up front with a 1/2" driver side spacer. Seems to be sitting about as high as most peoples 885's.

Just heading up to the ski hill so I'll snap a few pics and maybe if OZ-T is lucky I'll give him some hub to fender measurements.

    None yet.
OK I finally installed my OME kit with 886's ( adding my relentless bumper in the next few weeks) dakars, LR uca's and nitro sports all the way around. I added my new mmc enduros and 265/75/16 duratracs. Just drove from NC to Florida on it and I love the ride and look. My only concern is within the last day I noticed an unusual amount of grease coming from the outer cv boot (closest to tire) The grease looks to have been slung around primarily against the back of the wheel and on the suspension component. Has anyone seen this or know what could be causing it. Initial inspection does not look like a torn boot although I may be wrong as it was getting dark out. I have read about sliding the boot, etc. But with another road trip back up to NC looming after the holidays do ya'll think the safest bet would be going and getting both cv axles replaced or finding out the root cause of the grease slinging conundrum? Any pointers, advice or tips welcome will try to post pics of the angles tomorrow.

I all… recently posted this in another thread, but really wanted your input on 883, 884 and 885 front lift measurements on a prerunner. I need some suggestions for the best configuration for a 2006 prerunner DCSB with Dakars in the rear and get around 2” lift. Here are my requirements:

    1) Dakar leaf springs and OME shocks for the rear. I may remove the 3rd leaf to reduce rear lift.

From the average returns in the Dakar thread:

Stock Dakars center of hub to fender measurements
    DCSB - 24 5/8"

Dakars minus 3rd leaf center of hub to fender measurements

    DCSB - 23 3/8"

    2) I would like to keep the front lift to around 2” in order to stay away from new UCAs

    3) Keep some rake

You likely tore the boot doing your install. Change the whole axle and get that one fixed and either have a spare or sell it
