OME complete kit w/ 885s on Nitrocharger Sports, 1/4" spacers, Dakars w/ Nitrocharger Sports, LR UCAs, 265/70-17, Duratracs, G4 Elite tonneau, Weathertech Window Deflectors, Weathertech digital floor liners, factory JBL/Entune, rear differential breather relocate.
Helped a buddy install a full OME kit on his 2005 TRD Off-road today. He skipped on the UCAs for now so we installed dakars and nitrocharger sports in the rear and 885s w/ 1/2" spacers on nitrocharger sports in the front. Also did the diff drop even though I tried to talk him out of it. I can see why it's pretty much pointless now that I've put one on. Being in Texas, none of the bolts were seized so it was pretty painless. Helps we had practice on my truck last year. About 5 hours with breaks for everything. Now it's time for some beer!

Our trucks side by before, mine's clearly higher:

Side by side after, about the same now:

Nice lets see some side pics!
I wanna set how she sits with the 1/2" spacer.
I am installing the 1/4" spacer on my full setup next weekend.

I only took the one pic, wasn't my truck. After only minimal driving his is about an inch taller in front than mine is with 1/4" spacers and about 15,000 miles on the lift.

    Interesting you have the 1/4"
    With dakars?
I am hoping to sit close to level.

Thanks! Good luck. It's fairly easy. Takes a little finessing with a friend to get the bolt holes to line up on the Dakars. In the front we just unbolted the sway bar, loosened the big UCA bolt and separated the UCAs from the spindle to make enough room to get the new shock in.

Just got my OME kit on last weekend. 886x with Dakars, also put on some Icon UCAs.

Was told the wrong part number for the leaf bushings and no one had any. So we made do with the old ones. Was a little bit of a trick to get them out.

Shit is install a pain in the ass with stubborn/rusted bolts. I feel like I 100% put my foot in my mouth when I said 3-4 hours lol. Was not expecting things to go so slow and poorly

I think it took around 4-5 hours for my Dad and I to install the kit at his shop.

How many miles are realistic to think I can get out of a set of 886X's and the nitro front and rear shocks? Looking at a used set.

First post here. Although I have been lurking and researching for more time than I care to admit.
I've a 2013 DCSB Off-Road V6. Magnetic grey, not that color matters for this topic.
I'm about to pull the trigger on the complete lift from Wheelers. See below

"Includes NitroCharger front and rear shocks, 885 front coil springs, Dakar rear leaf springs w/ bushings, front trim packer, driveline bearing drop kit and u-bolts"

I'm going to go with some LR UCA's.
Also, I was going to have them assemble the coil overs with longer studs, which brings me to a question. I understand that the top plate spacer adds height, but does it affect the function of the suspension negatively. I'm of the mind that form should follow function. But with that said, a lifted truck does give me the warm and fuzzy's. So, any reason besides personal preference to steer clear of the spacers (10mm or 13mm)?

I don't want to go over 3" due to cv angles and boot wear. I'm not looking for a harsh ride, 95% asplalt. I might throw a topper on the back at some point, but the front end will stay stock. I usually throw 400lbs in the bed in winter and it squats the stock springs pretty good.

Im going to do the install myself up here in Alaska, so I'd like to get everything I need ready and not be missing something (shipping is a bear up here).
Is there anything that I'm not thinking about? Suggestions? Any takes on Superbumps? Rear brake lines?

Does 3 degrees of caster move the wheel closer to the rear of the fender or the front of the fender?
