I would say so....fully assembled OME fronts from Wheeler's without any discounts would be over $630 without shipping. Sounds reasonable, as long as you're getting OME shocks with them.

I forgot to update you guys and show you my finished truck. Here's some pictures. The front sits 1/2" lower, I might buy a spacer and level it. Also contemplating removing the sway bar.

Sorry if you posted it already but which springs did you go with? Also which tires are those?

    I went with 885 coils w/ a .5" spacer and 285/70-17 Goodyear Duratracs.

Sweet! I would have went with 886, but I don't plan on a steel front bumper or sheilds. It rides good.

Planning on doing a lift on my 2nd gen and had some questions.

N182 vs the 60091 OME shocks. Looks like the N182's are the "classic" nitrochargers but have more travel 608mm extended 352 collapsed vs 599 / 360 .

Im looking at going with a 2inch AAL in the rear of my 2nd gen taco. I think the N182 would give a nice amount of extra flex.

Just really wondering the switch from the N182 to the 60091's?

Well, after drinking a case of beer in the garage just staring at my truck. I decided to order 1" spacers to replace the 1/2" spacers and level the 1/2" rake. I also pulled out my swaybar. I'll see how it rides on my offroad adventure tomorrow and make a decision.

Yea I went ahead and bought some allpro front and rear extended steel braided brake lines. To tell you the truth I didn't even check them when I was on the trail haha, but they are a lot longer and I noticed with the axle at full droop during the lift install the lines still had a ways to go before they were tight.

Truck looks great, did you have any vibrations you have to fix and any issues with the ABS/VSC activating while driving. And if so have you done anything to address the stuff.

Did you use any shims when you installed your kit or just what was in your original photo of all your parts.

(The above doesnt happen to all who lift just some, just wanted to see if you have any issues)

    Thanks

Getting started on this install tomorrow, can someone double check my torque list?

    Rear:

    U-Bolts: 37 ftlb
    Shackle to frame: 89 ftlb
Leaf at both ends: 89 ftlb
    Rear Shock Top: 15 ftlb
    Rear Shock Bottom: 74 ftlb

Front - This is where the Service list gets confusing for me

UCA to Frame (long bolt): 85 ftlb
UCA Ball Joint to Spindle: 45 ftlb
UCA Ball Joint to UCA: 150ftlb (May be LR UCA specific torque requirement)
    Coilover Assy to LCA: 61ftlb
Coilover Assy to Frame: 47ftlb on each of the 3 studs

It's been confirmed many times that the U-bolt torque is WAY too low. Should be more around 85 ft lbs.
