Full OME suspension (885 front springs, Dakar leaf pack + OME shocks) + D29XL extra leaf + 3 deg. shim + RideRite airbags
Icon. According to their website, it's possible to add CDC clickers to Icon remote reservoir shocks so you can adjust the dampening. They got em at Wheelers and according to the description, good for a 2.5" lift, about the same as what the Dakars provide :
    They are pricey though...

So I have been reading up on what all is needed to get this OME kit on my 2014 DCLB. I know to get 885 and Dakars. I see that a sway bar relocate kit might be a good idea. What about some leveling pucks for the front? Do you think the add a leaf is worth it or do I need to go to air bags? ( enclosed construction trailer / slide in camper ) Is there any thing else I should consider?

885x, billies, 1.5 aal and 265/75/16 on my dcsb. I'm pretty happy with the result.

Oz Thank you. It seems like we do the same thing with our Tacomas.... Lots of work and as much fun as time affords. What is everyone's opinion on add a leaf? Or just plan on Air Bags?

Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
Finished my complete OME lift tonight. Its almost scary how easy it was.

It took maybe 30 minutes to do the front end, 3 hours for the rear end. All I had was hand tools and jack stands. I used ratchet straps to hold and help locate the axle during the dakar install. I won't get a chance to drive it until after work tomorrow but I'm very happy with how it went together.

I've been looking into different lifts for a little while and I've decided I want to go with OME. I'd like to get the ARB bumper with. Maybe someone can help me with what I should order. I'd like to have a 3" lift with the bumper, possible?

Im currently riding with everything stock on my 09 dcsb 4x4 and have a snugtop shell

All I know for sure is I want Dakar AAL and I need 886 considering I'm getting the ARB bumper.

I'd love to get some parts ordered this week.

Maybe someone can chime in on my plans as well.

    I am wanting 3" lift/level.

So, right now as far as I can tell, I am looking to purchase 885 springs with the 9000 sport shocks w/ trim packer for taco lean. In the back I am going with the AAL option but not sure if I should do 2" or 1.5" to get the level.

If I have a v6 access cab and a camper shell. I did the full OME suspension lift, with the 90000 and Dakar leaf packs. up front did 886 coils with no bumper or winch will it cause to much angle for CV joint or drive shaft? Research says it will be way to stiff but will it affect mechanical function? Unfortunately I feel I am gonna have to swap em out. I was only trying to get more lift.

For those of you that have installed the full kit from Wheelers, I have a question for you. Does the kit come with decent instructions for items like the driveline bearing drop kit? And is there a spot to relocate the E-brake on the Dakars that are being produced now?

I'm not concerned with the shocks as they go where they go, but I've never had to work with a bearing drop kit and I'm looking for a bit of guidance. I also have the Total Chaos UCA's (96504) coming and it should all be here tomorrow.

If you are talking about the OME FK29 carrier bearing drop ( fitting kit ) , it is essentially just 2 solid spacers that go under the stock carrier bearing mount and a couple longer bolts

For the e-brake, you simply unbolt the cable bracket off the leaf spring pack, and bolt it back to the new Dakars. There is a threaded spot to accept the original bolt.

My kit came from Toytec, but it is the exact same as they sale anywhere else. I did not had any instructions, but here on this forum there's lots of threads to guide you through the installation process.

Here are some more pics of the OME install yesterday. I get some trail pics this weekend. Once I drive it around a little, I'll also retorque everything. I'm also not running the swaybar.

Front Shafts. Angle isn't too bad but I do have a diff drop kit that I'll get around to installing.
    IMG_0651_zpsee79fab8_c42fa8840396cdb62ae45fa0d0e747703a5c03e6.jpg

Drivers side rear. The brake line and breather extension are plenty long. The greasable shackles are nearly vertical so there should be plenty of flex too.
    IMG_0653_zps92c0204e_d7ff6d1a178f5f0c9ec7fdc7674c9819a5ca2d9c.jpg

Passenger rear. The BPV bracket works reasonable well as the control arm is nearly parallel to the road. Also, though it looks like it in the pic, the exhaust does not hit the leaf. If it does, however, I'll just cut the exhaust back.

After. The rear axle did move forward slightly but not too bad. There is also a noticeable rake right not but I hope the leafs will settle in and level out.

Overall, I'm very happy with the install. Final opinions saved for this weekend when I get to drive it 3 hours on the highway followed by 2 days in the rocks.

Just seeing what you guys think. I have the 885x coils on my setup currently.
I have added sliders and a front skid. Will be adding a bumper in the future (full plate) and more skids. I have read a couple guys who have the 887 coils for the "smoother" ride since they have the same spring rate as the 885s. My question is would they still give me the lift I want (3") with all the armor since they are longer and NOT sag? Or would it be just a better bet to go with the 886 coils? (I also have a 1/4 top plate spacer and the trim packer currently)

    Thanks
