    Found my clunk. It only happens whenfull lock while turning and hit a bump.... UCA making contact with the coil.

    Brad, at 17 $$ each, it was the best decision I made. No cutting into the body and from my research likely saved an hour (at $95 per) each side in labor

    You don't cut the body to get the bolts out you just bend up some sheet metal inside the fender , can't even tell I did it

    Definately will need brake lines to do this. I almost didn't get them thinking they were not needed. Toytec SS-20-05

    I don't have extended brake lines with my Dakars but I haven't flexed it like that , lol

    I'll get some brake lines before I go to Moab Spring '15. My last project just has me burnt out on bleeding brakes. I ordered new UCA bolts almost right after I asked the question. I have seen some hack jobs too. I am sure that OZ is right that most can get away with just bending some metal out of the way. I just don't want to mess with it.

    Takes 2 seconds to bend the little piece of metal with plyers to get the bolts out of the UCAS.
    I bought new bolts too but never used them. Was a waste since using the same stock ones were so easy.

    Hello,

    I just recently got my first Tacoma. I've been wanting one for a while now. It's a double cab long bed TRD sport. I put an ARB bull bumper on it, side steps (I thought they were sliders, but they will do for now), and I am shortly going to put a full set of aluminum 1/4 inch skids on it and a winch. I haven't done any suspension work yet, but what I'm looking to do is get it up 1.5 to maybe 2 inches above stock after all the weight of the armor and winch. I'm trying to figure this out but it's all just confusing me. :confused:

    What would I need to do this?

    +1 for bending the sheetmetal and sliding the bolt out just enough to remove the UCA.

    So I should look into getting 886 coils with 90000 shocks? Would I need to move the front dif or is stock ok? What does the install for this stuff look like? Can I do it with just a floor jack?

    My intention of posting the picture was to show where you would bend the metal back to make it easier to get the UCA bolt off. Now that I have a second look at the picture, it doesn't really show that. My mistake.
