I had the lean with just the trim packer installed, then added the 1/4" top plate spacer to the driver side.

That removed the lean for me

Does removing the overload spring reduce load cap? If not maybe I'll put the 3rd leaf back in and take the overload out.

It's more than just about the thickness

Removing the 3rd will soften the ride and lower the height but at the cost of some capacity

Removing the upper overload lowers the height by about 1/2" but the ride and capacity stay the same

Think I finally have everything needed. Just ordered some LR UCA's and a CB drop.

    '14 Access Cab TRD Sport

    Going with

    884/90021, driver side trim packer

Have spacers on the way, not sold on installing them

2" AAL, with the rear OME shocks, Nitro's?

Sticking with stock wheels and 265/65/17's for the moment until I decide everyhing will work.

Not sure how fast HeadStrong ships, so will probably be next week before I get the UCA's as I'm in IL and just ordered this morning. By that point morel mushrooms will be up and my next 4-5 weekends will be occupied.

Hoping late May I'll do the install... nit worried about doing it, more worried about after the install with vibrations and such.

Wouldn't mind going the full 3" with front spacers but not sure I wamt to put the extra angle/pressure on the cv knuckles

I would get the ECGS bushing to replace the needle bearing in your driver side CV axle. I got vibes as soon as I lifted mine this last weekend. It will be much easier to do it while you already have everything removed.

Per ARB with the 3rd leaf removed it will drop you about 13mm (if i remember correctly), which is close to 0.5"

I removed my top overload and the drop was a little more. Capacity is still there, just flexes significantly better on up travel when offroad. I think I was one of the first, on here at least, to remove the top overload and have had the packs like this for about 2 years now with no complaints or issues.

You're talking the 8" bushing? Special tools necessary?

Stupid phone won't let me.copy and paste the link since it updated to lollipop last night.

Even with the spacers you won't get 3" out of 884s, I was at like 1.75" when I had them (no spacers). With the setup you're getting I would be really shocked if you had any vibrations, its just not that much of a change.

Skip the spacers, stick with the 265s and you'll be rocking. I loved that setup, almost as much as I love my setup now :)

    Edit:

Pic with 884s cause i like them pictars

How much more weight do you have being a dual cab? I'm only an access cab and that does make a difference in all my researching. Haven't researched cab weight differences though.

Not enough to bump you up 1.25"

I just looked to see if I could find the weight of the two but both were list as gross 5,500 lbs. I'm going to keep looking for it.

    Toyota.com has them listed as:

2015 Access Cab V6 curb weight (lbs) 4140
2015 Double Cab V6 curb weight (lbs) 4220

Pretty sure 80lbs isn't going to make too much of a difference on a 588 #/in spring.

Also, was yours factory rear height in the pic or did you lift it as well?

Now you have me thinking all over again lol, ugh. I thought the 884x were supposed to be cycled at the factory to eliminate sag and maintain consistent heights.

    See above for weights.

And the new springs don't sag but that doesn't change the fact that its a 385 mm spring.

That pic was with the factory 4 pack.

I'm confused more than ever now, sounds like I may have wasted $400 on he UCA's and carrier drop.

Think I'm going to cancel the order and hold off until I can get this sorted out.

Definitely going against what i thought was a consensus.

884's will get 2 - 2-1/2 inches on an AC

What are you trying to achieve? Clear 265s and gain a little lift?
