    Thanks OZ for all the great info! Its much appreciated.

    Is the spring rate from the 885's to 886's that much different. I saw some number on other post but I don't know what those numbers mean so it might as well be written in another language.

    Im just trying to wrap my head around all these numbers.:confused:

    885's with 3rd leaf removed slight rake (good ride) 2-2.5 of lift?

    886's with all leafs in pack still slight rake (worried about stiff ride) 2.5-3.0 of lift?

    887's with all leafs in pack (closer to level) 3.0 of lift

    Is it safe to go with the break down above knowing that all trucks are different.

    886's have a stiffer spring rate to compensate for added weight like aftermarket steel bumpers and a winch , if you're not adding either I would stick to 885's and top plate spacers or 887's if you are looking for 3" of lift

    I have the stock 16" wheels. I was originally thinking 235/85 or 265/75 but I would love 285/75/16. I don't mind small rubbing where I need to alter the mudflaps but I don't think I want to get into cab mount chop or anything. I guess my worry is I don't want my wheels to look to small/not fit the lift.

    884's with spacers on an access cab 4 cyl u may be able to go w 285.I would think u would have slight rubbing though..

    Could go with the 255/85/16 as a happy medium. It is taller than a 285 but just as wide as a 265.

    Here is my truck with the full OME lift. 886 coils up front and 255's on. On stock 1st gen wheels, but will work with stock 2nd gen rims. No rubbing but still have my sway bar on.

    Hmmm options options... I like the idea of the 255's but I cant find them in a BFG All Terrain T/A KO2. My choices are that or the Cooper STMaxx.

    Goodyear wrangler duratracs are also a solid option or maybe nitto trail grapplers but I haven't read too much about them. Also not sure about all their sizes they come in

    No winch yet but the ride isn't rough at all. I do feel if the sway bar was off that it may help with the ride. How ever I didn't feel a difference from stock bumper to metal bumper on.

    I honestly love my stmaxx. Coming from the kevlars the coopers have been an awesome all around tire.

    This ^^^ Will need spacers on stock wheels to run 285's

    Anyone using 884s with an ARB bummer? Looking for less than 1.5 inches over stock and less nosedive after installing the bumper. Truck is a 2010 dcsb 4x4.

    Eibachs might suit you better , 1.6" lift and a stiffer spring rate than the 884/5/7

    UPDATE: I called ARB today and told them about the broken rivet and loose clamp. They are sending out a new Dakar spring and the shop will install it.
