I think when you get aligned they will adjust your caster and you should have no more rubbing. 265/70 should be no problem.

I have a ? Are the OME 9000 and springs a better/smother setup then Bilstein 5100's and Eibach's ? I am asking Because I have a Toytec 3in setup and hate it. I would love to go with OME if I could get 3in out of them. But it is a 2wd prerunner so most of my driving offroad is service roads at a moderate rate of speed. Thanks for your input.

    I bounce it offa stuff.
Yeah go with OME shocks. They stay cooler than other shocks in this travel range, which is beneficial for your application, and are smoother than 5100s.
Edit: eibach makes a spring and does not make a shock, iirc.

I'm considering a front bumper with my OME lift when I order it what front bumpers would y'all recommend? I'm looking at ones with full hoops. What's y'all's input on which bumper to go with..

After reading through this and stalking this thread I think I finally figured out what I want.
    If I go with wheelers:

NitroCharger front and rear shocks, 2885 front coil springs, CS047R Dakar rear leaf springs w/ Wheeler’s polyurethane bushings, 95PF5 front trim packer for driver side strut, FK29 driveline bearing drop kit and Wheeler’s u-bolts!

On a 2012 OF with bed rack, RTT and sliders, should put me around 2 1/2"?
I'm not really looking for that magic number 3 so under isn't an issue. No plans for bumper of winch. Just looking for a little lift and better ride.

Front ARB bumper, LR UCA's, OME 885/90021 struts, Ome shocks rear, general springs HD leaf pack.
A week after my 885 lift with no extras on the truck besides my arb bumper mine settled from 3" down to 2" in the front.. with your sliders and no front bumper 2.5 might be accurate. I would say get the 3* shims while your at it..

    Potential set-up:
OME shocks front & rear (orig. or sport Nitro's).
    OME 883 or 884 coils.
    taco-lean shim.
Dakars with leaf removed or Wheelers?
265 tires on my stock 16" steelie rims.

This should net me about 1.5" of lift. With no need for additional suspension modifications.
I'm not looking to run the Baja 1000 or do any rock climbing. But a little better stance. Better ride. And better performance in the woods and at the farm, without breaking the bank or destroying the on pavement ride would be perfect.

    I'm open to opinions...suggestions...thoughts...

And I'd still have some rake to absorb a load or tow a boat?

Should go up about 1 1/2" front and rear , so factory rake , just 1 1/2" higher

This is pretty much what I'm looking for to.
If I bump up the coils from 883 to 884 or 885 would I still be level with wheelers add a leaf?

    Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

This is what the bottom of the shock looks like. The sock with the least amount of thread showing is longer.

I'm trying to finish gathering the parts to put my lift on and this is driving me insane,OCD.

Are there any instructions anywhere for how to assemble these coils?

Yes. The trim packer is on right. I just can't figure out why there is a lack of theads on that shock? Is it because of the trim packer or did it not get tightened down enough?

If the trim packer side shows less threads it's likely the added thickness of the trim packer
