How's the 886's treating you? How do you like the ride on the road and off road?

For those of you that cut your UCA bolt where did you get a replacement bolt. What size, thread and any specific type metal? Thanks in advance.

I like them a lot. Ride feels great on and off road and they hold up the weight just fine. I probly have 2.5" of lift.

Why would you cut the UCA bolt? It doesn't take much to get it out. Channel-locks, some patience, and a buddy to help with the passenger side.

Use a screwdriver from up top to pry on the bolt a little and punch it out). Took 15 minutes per side to remove.

What coils and shocks are you running? 90000s or the 90021s?

Same here, but I didn't use them. They are sitting in my garage with other misc parts that I haven't used or needed!

    Yes sir
Yup, takes less time just to bend the inner fender in comparison to going to toyota to get a new bolt. After everything is re-installed, bend the fender back as close as you can; my dad and I sprayed some rust prevention stuff on it too.

I didn't have any trouble with the drivers side but the passenger side no matter how much I bent mettle and punched on the bolt it wasn't comming out.. I replaced them just because I don't ever plan on taking them off again and wanted new clean bolts. I had to grind down one side of the head of the bolt to get it back in on the passenger side.

I had the same problem with the passenger side. Had to grind the head to get the bolt out. Then put a new one in from the back.

A co-worker just picked up a '10 DC pre-runner and is looking at the OME setup. How much lift are you guys getting (after settling) with the 885's and no top plate spacer? He's looking for around 3" with the rear about 1" higher.

885s with the 90021 I believe? The "sport" ones. Very happy w the ride. Got the Dakar rear springs. So many people say the are way stiff, but with my shell on they feel perfect. Actually feels like a truck.

    I got mine at toyotapartznet

    Bolt # 90105-A-0095
    Nut # 90080-17208

I figured it was easier to just cut them off than have to fight getting them out.

Bolts were $9 each and nuts were $2.26

I figured what's $25 when you just spent $1000+ on new suspension.

887s seem to get you 3 or just above with no armor/winch. 885's roughly 2 3/4.

    Sweet thanks.

I may try one more time. I tried when doing the lift. Started on the passenger side. Couldn't get it gave up for the day. Was beat from the heat.

    Thank You...

    Thanks for the link.

Same as posted above may give it another try. Thanks for the reply.

Will probably do the same. "Put new one in from back side"

Thank you for the part numbers. Much appreciated.
