Yea I don't do any rock crawling or crazy off roading so I guess it's the bump stops and new u bolts it will be when I get around to it. It not on the top of my list

If you read his post if you don't plan on doing a lot of off-roading or extreme then it would be a waste of money for me. So he gave me the advice I needed. But good on you for doing the swap and not destroying anything! It's not in my interest to do that and he answered what I asked.

I think the flip kit just looks way better from behind. Where did you find this kit?

I will consider then. All I was saying that he answered my question that was proposed. I don't have my truck lifted just OME 884 and Billy 5100 all around and the wheelers super bumps in the front. I don't really do much off roading just when I am hunting and going to my fishing places. I do appreciate the info. But this kit isn't prolly on the top of the list but when I run out of mods then I will prolly throw some money at it haha, because of the mod bud of course. On another note I have searched and searched but cannot find an answer. On the 2nd gen rear 5100 shocks, it doesn't matter which side they go on correct? I read somewhere that it does but I believe the person had a 1st gen. And when you are tightening the top nut where is a good place to stop tightening since I cannot find a wrench type torque wrench (have to have due to having to have the Allen key in place while tightening)? At first I bottomed the rubber spacers out because the resistance felt the same all the way down. I knew that wasn't correct so I just backed the nut off till I had about 1/4 in of threads showing out of the top. The spacers are compressed and have tension. I just wants some clarification on this so I don't run into trouble down the road. I do have the bottom bolt to torque specs? Appreciate if anyone could give me an answer about this. Sorry I know it seems like a no brainier but just want to make sure everything is correct.

On that flip kit you do not have to utilize the center bolt slot do you if all you are planning to do is to do the flip kit and not change out anything like leafs, etc?

The 884's don't give you some lift up front?

Yes it does but my intentions were to make a point that I'm not lifting my overall truck. If you want to call basically leveling my truck out with different coil springs then by all means call my truck lifted. But yes and no. My truck is "lifted" per say but I do not plan to lift my whole truck. But let's just pick apart my comments. It amazes me what some people will do with their time on these threads. I thought they were more for helping people out than to bash them. I'm just here for information. That's all.

But if your intentions weren't to question if my truck was lifted or not I appologize but yes the 884 did lift the front, I put them on for the same reason as some on here to level my truck out. The rest of my truck (speaking of the rear is stock and planning on staying stock height) besides the 5100 shocks I just installed which doesn't give you any lift in the rear until you add an AAL or switch out your leaf packs which I stated before I have no intention of doing.

If you lifted it 2" up front , it's lifted , so all the pertinent info regarding lifted trucks with regards to cv joints , front diff bearing , alignment etc would apply to you too

    Just an FYI

It is about helping others. I may consider 884's and your post drew my curiosity. my post wasn't meant to be sarcastic. I'm sorry if you saw it that way.

And now I know why so many people on this forum don't care for you that much. But I will let it be. Like I said I'm just here for information and if I can't get what was intended for then I will go elsewhere. And if I remember correctly 2" still allows me to be able to keep my truck within all the factory specs. Which I did find this out with people's helpful inputs on this forum. So if I had to go beyond that and have to switch out my UCA's and other stuff to meet those requirements then I would consider my truck lifted. But it's in the eyes of the beholder, shoot me for saying my truck isn't lifted with a simple leveling kit (which was done the correct way) which I also found out how to do on this forum. So if you do not have any information on the subject matter in my previous post then don't waiste your time. And I do appreciate the other guys on this current forum who have answered my questions without being an asshole about it.

So I appologize. Yes the 884's with my DCSB gave me around 1.75-2" of "lift", no pun intended toward you to basically level my truck out. Do consider I have no weight in the front so if you plan on adding bumper, winch, etc I would consider a different OME coil and others would be able to help you with that info.

Whenever you guys get it sorted out, I'd love a little input on my post...887's in front to compensate for Fabfours bumper and winch and what in back to compensate for topper and Fabfours rear bumper? Thx!

So wait , I'm being an asshole by pointing out your truck being lifted 2" up front still means you might have the same issues as other people with lifts do ?

Calling a lifted truck " leveled " doesn't change anything about how suspension or drivetrain components react to the change in geometry
