OME 886, Dakar, Total Chaos UCA, 255-80-17 Cooper ST Maxx, ProComp Wheels Installing Soon: ARB Deluxe Front Bumper, Warn VR10000 Winch
Well, we managed to get the install done! 886s in the front with Total Chaos UCAs and Dakars in the rear. The only issue we had was getting the long bolt back in on the drivers side...instead of putting it in from the wheel well, we put it back in through the front (like the stock bolt), because we didn't want to risk damaging the fuel lines...This shouldn't affect anything right? The passenger side was easier to put the bolt in backwards. My friend the mechanic insists it wouldn't alter anything but just wanted to double check.

The bumper and winch go on tonight, and then I get my tires (255-80-17 cooper st max) mounted and the alignment done weds...pics will be coming!

Ride will be much stiffer than stock at first. Mine took a month or so to soften up.

Is the 2 inch toytec AAL too long for the rear nitro sport shocks? should I get extended break lines? Thanks in advance!

It just seems like the shocks are almost fully extended.

Considering the dakars give up to 2-3" of lift you should be fine.

Can always jack up the rear end and droop it out and see if the break lines are tight or if the shocks are maxing out.

So I just put the OME kit with 885's and a toytec 2inch AAL on my 2012 base model regular cab 4x4 and the ABS and traction control light are on. I think I either stretch the ABS wire or the lift threw the sensor off. I'll check if the wire was damaged when I get home, but in the mean time, is it ok to drive and could it just be some kind of code I have to reset? Thanks for your help!

Also, a friend helped with the TC UCA install and might have accidentally pinched the ABS wire when bending the inner fender well to be able to remover UCA bolt. I'll check to be sure once I'm off from work.

Search Google. Lots of threads on this. Usually a brake light switch failure or ABS brake wire issue or master cylinder issue. All brake related.

Thanks! My main concern was if it was ok to be driven home and to get alignment done.

Does anybody recognize this noise, it starts 5 seconds in to the clip. It only happens on turns and I also haven't gotten the alignment done, do you think that's what it could be?

Tires are doing this number...wonder if this is what's causing it. It handles really stiff with resistance on turns too.

ABS and traction control lights are also on. No visible damage to ABS wire either.
