Well, I had to work late...

This is all I got done tonight:

    Passenger side, nothing really:

    Drivers side. LR UCA installed:

I'm planning to finish the front tomorrow after work. Sunday I'll do the rear. The winch I'll do durring the week as soon as my front receiver arrives.

So, I had to work late again. But, I did get the front finished tonight:

One thing I noticed. The ABS wires were too short after the lift. Possibly the 1/4" top spacers being the culprit. I would've had to stretch the wire to put the bracket back on the UCA.

So, I carfully removed the wire from the second clip on the bracket. This left slack in the wire, but I was worried the clip I removed it from would catch the wire with movement of the UCAs. I put the wire in split conduit and hammered the clip down flat to the UCAs. I think that'll do the trick.

Tomorrow, I'll get the Dakars in.

I'm getting a little tire rub on the frame at the back of the tire at full lock
    though.

I've never messed with spacers, but this seems like the fix, no?

I don't know, can you see the two rub lines just above the rear LCA nut?

Yup, spacers or different wheels... But the spacers may cause you to rub somewhere else.

Well, I JUST bought those wheels... New ones are not an option. It doesn't seem close anywhere else. I guess I'll give the spacers a shot.

    Thank you.

I have yet ANOTHER question. What are you guys using to grease the new bushings for the Dakars?

My LR UCAs came with a packet of black grease in the box. Wheelers also sent a tube of Superlube. The instructions said to use the supplied grease only. So, that's what I did.

Anyway, I have the tube of Superlube. Is that sufficient for the Dakar bushings?

886's. They are stiff... With all of the weight on the LCA, I had to open the hood and pull down on the truck to get the strut shaft nut started. Once again, due to the spacers I guess.

That's a good point. Didn't think of that...

Winch is sitting on the bench. I probably won't get to it until after the weekend. The creases are touching. I'm going to pick up some new clamps, remove the stock clamps, slide the boots down the shaft and reclamp.

The winch and mount are only 200lb's. I don't think it'll lower the front much. They should settle on their own a little, no?
