Been on the beach for the last few days. When I get in the ruts and my truck starts bouncing, I get a squeaky noise from the front. Sounds like an old iron bed with some teenagers getting rowdy, for the sake of other words. I can't tell if it's the front set up or somewhere else. Any ideas? 885 with spacer and one shocks. Shocks have less then 35k on them maybe less. I read somewhere about a pinch point on the frame so maybe it's that. Thought I'd check here for any ideas

The 2015 has issues with OME. Have to grind down the mount bracket on the truck.

    EDIT:
Below, I state that my Mobtown recovery bar receiver hitch came welded on crooked. Well, Joe at Mobtown saw this and contacted me before I could contact him. He stated that their jig was bent unbeknownst to him. He is sending me a replacement recovery bar right away. Awesome customer service. Thank you Joe!

I had time to install the Mobtown recovery bar as well. Unforuatley, the 2" receiver part is welded on a little crooked. AND it's crooked in the wrong direction. Meaning, the winch is heavier on one side. So, even if the receiver were straight, it would Lean a little to that side. The receiver being crooked just exagerates the lean.

Im actually quite bummed about this. Oh well, it'll still get the job done. I think a thumb strap down to the recovery shackle on the drivers side will make it sit almost level when the winch is in. Obviously, when actually using the winch, it won't matter.

    Anyway, back OME stuff...

With 886's and 1/4" spacers, full Dakar pack, and 10 PSI in the rear bags, initially, the front was 1/2" higher than the rear. Measuring at the pinch weld below the doors front and rear.

After taking it up the road a little way, it now sits dead even. I know it'll settle a little, but with the airbags, the rear should stay the same. I'm thinking I'll end up with the rear a little higher than the front. But, level is fine too. As long as it's not nose high, I'm happy.

I put the bags in a couple of years ago. They were already there. I didn't see any reason to take them out.

I have a 14', 2000 lb trailer that I use for firewood. I know the Dakars are stout, but I'm sure it'll still squat the rear.

I did. I also used the bottom "Taco lean" spacer that came with the OME kit on the drivers side.

Actually, the hidden mount is 65 lbs. That's what their site says any way. After handling it, I believe it. It's pretty stout. Because the winch has synthetic rope, it's 85 lbs. the shackles, wring, and cradle are probably another 30 lbs. More like 180.

I was originally going to get the same winch but with wire cable. That's where I got the 200 lbs from. I wasn't thinking about the rope being lighter.

Thanks for the info. I am putting the lit on myself. I am going to wait till I get new uca's, then put my lift on. What brand of light racing uca's is everyone running? I'm am considering getting those since they are cheaper than the total chaos uniball uca's.

"Light Racing UCA's" is a specific product from a specific manufacturer. They come from SPC (Specialty Products Company).

    I got mine here:

Thanks for the info! I just trying to get everything figured out still, since is the first truck that i have actually installed a lift instead of over paying the local shop to put it on.
