Cool. I like my dakars but carry a little bit of weight in the bed.

Yeah, I never carry any weight. So what you're saying is that if I were to buy this kid I would have everything that I need?

As long as it has the trim packer you should be good to go. I also didn't do any shims or spacers with mine so not sure on that stuff.

What are the biggest tires I will be able to do with this set up?

285s with trimming and likely a CMC.

255s otherwise are the tallest tire, but are narrow.

265/75/16 or 265/70/17 for without trimming (and also fit stock height).

CMC? And I have 265/75/16's on right now with my 2 inch rough country block lift. I was hoping to be able to go at least a little bit bigger

    Cab mount chop.

285s are wider, which is the issue with rubbing.

Backspace is the depth from the mounting surface to the back of the wheel.

The biggest and widest that I can go with my 16 inch rims without having to cut and without rubbing? 265/75/16?

Just got my OME kit from Headstrong Offroad installed with 886s and no front bumper yet, this is such a true statement...

I am running 255/85-16 Cooper S/T MAXX tires on mine, they're just shy of 33". No contact anywhere, no need for cab mount chop, though if I were to jump up to 265s that would probably require a chop, but the 255s look damned good and are very functional, and I don't think I'll ever change.

Would I have this same issue even though I have a giant plate bumper/winch?

Headstrong OffRoad is awesome. I'm sure they'll customize the order for you. I worked with Marie when I got my OME kit from them. She was great.

The Dakar is stiff with zero weight in the back. If you their a cab or other heavy objects back there you'll appreciate then though. I don't carry heavy stuff but I've piled numerous 40lb boxes in my truck and not seen it settle at all.

Yeah I pretty much never carry anything and that's why I think that the All-Pro leaf packs would be a good choice for me
