I don't get it , you took off OME shocks to run 5100's with 886's ?

Plenty of great products so far !
Oh Douche Bag lifts , mine has nothing to do with DB lift. LR UCA's 5100's with 2886 springs with the lined bumper and winch fucked up my new installed myself cv axles . So I bought the 6" BDS much less angle at the cv joints. Most people who don't want to or can't spend $15,000-$20,000 on mods call our shit DB lifts or DB trucks.Who really gives a shit enjoy whatever your into and let everyone do the same!

Calm down Clarence , I'm not attacking you , I meant I didn't get what you were trying to show in your pic and I'm still not clear what lift you are running on your truck

Wow over 60k miles a year. I can't imagine losing warranty on a vehicle in one year due to miles.

You must drive for a living eh?

So I must've missed the PSA or something but wasn't it frowned upon when you match 886's or 887's with 5100's? It seems like it's okay to do now. I hope it is because I'm looking to bump up to 886's or 7s.

I was planing on getting ome coils and billy shocks, but went full ome. A lot of people are happy with them, i was told and the general opinion around here seems to be the ome coils should have the ome shocks. "Tuned for them","Valving" ect. a lot of good technical words thrown around.
I figured ill cough up the extra $$$ for some ome shocks. The simple truth of the matter is the front shocks are not long enough. Maybe arb spent all there money engineering the "valving", and "tuning" and over engineering metal internal bump stops that they didn't have enough money to have a guy read a tape measure

Don't waste your money on these shocks. Thats my take on it and i wish someone told me that before i bought mine. Never the less ya live and learn!

They seem to be alright on the road (avoiding speed bumps and dodging bigger pot holes of coarse) They are bearable on gravel/logging roads as long (as you go slow) but thats it. If you like to off road on even slightly rockier stuff or like to drive on the beach (sand) faster then 20mph once in a while your going to hate how it bangs you truck around.

I notice myself driving much more cautious since I put this lift on... seems to be the opposite of what I wanted when shopping for "offroad suspension"

i have no issues with my rear shocks!

It's the 886's that people suggest the 5100's shouldn't be paired with

    884's , 885's , 887's are the same spring rate

Do you air down when you OffRoad? Makes a huge impact on that bouncing all over the place issue.

I usually rock 35-36psi on the highway. Dropped to 15psi on my site wheeling trip (no much snow) and was amazed how big a difference it made.

I don't make a habit of airing down. I know it helps, but its something i do if more contact patch needed. I don't think airing down to compensate my shocks is necessary task i feel like i should have to do.

Where can you get top hats, coil insolators and bushings that fit 2015 tacoma?

    Edit:

Decided to be somewhat of a guinea pig and try the ones down below in the "products discussed in this thread". From what I've read they'll work fine with the 05+

If I remove a leaf from my dakars, how much would it drop it rear approximately? Aside from a softer ride, would I have same amount of travel in the leafs? or would it have more up travel because of the different spring rate.
