I've got a snatch block... don't have what they brand as a "tree saver" but honestly a towel/blanket/jacket/tow-strap accomplish the same thing.

Are you asking what the difference is between a suspension upgrade and adding spacers to your current suspension setup?

I guess what Im asking is while the Old Man Emu be a better choice for Off Roading then going with a leveling kit. (I have no idea about this stuff hence my question. I only recently got my truck and am starting to put together a list of what I want to get done and to achieve)

Figure out what you want to use your truck for and then mod accordingly.

Drove the truck for the first time with OME lift on, was pretty stoked.

Not sure if this is the right thread but I want to get a complete kit for a 2"
I want it to ride as close to the factory TRD off road as I can but to also give me the aforementioned lift and support the additional weight of winchmount/winch, the weight of sliders and full skids.

I don't want to firm and not to soft to where its completely floaty feeling.
Can I get some advice or be directed someplace that has the droids im looking for?

You can get a nice ride, but not sure you're being realistic with your expectations.

If you want a stock ride, stay stock. Any changes will.. change.. that.

haha yah they're not really realistic expecations just kind the goal and as close as I can get within in reason will suit me just fine.
I just dont want a truck that ends up having harder suspension than a sports car or such soft suspension that its scary around a gentle curve in the road.

Probably setup, you shouldn't have either.

I'm extremely happy with my OME setup. Would buy again.

You should talk to Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road

So I thought that I just about had this whole thing figured out, I was gonna go with 885 coils and a top spacer, but then I see people talking about 887 coils, and I can't find any info about them, and toytec doesn't have them. Can anyone enlighten me on 887's?

887's are the same rate as the 885's but 5mm taller

So it is 5mm short of a 885 with a top spacer? I have a dcsb, if I got the 887's it wouldn't be a full 3 inches but would it be enough to fit 33's?

887's is what they recommend for Double Cabs to achieve 3 inches. To fit 33's you will probably have to do some trimming and cab mount chop

I believe 285/75/16 (33") requires cab mount chop. However, I think 255/85/16 (33") only requires the lift but no chop.

    Could be wrong though.

255 will fit without lift, IIRC.

Notice I said "fit," not "will fully stuff."
