That's even taller than the 285 though, wouldn't it be worse for pulling?

Just throwing some options out there

    I have 275/70/17

    There's also 255/75/17 and 255/80/17

There's no equivalent tire to a 275/70/17 in a 16" wheel size is there?

So what about it, any suggestions. Run 886 or 887 with top spacer

Spoke about it on the previous page.with all your skids and bumper and possible winch and other accessories I would go with 886. The ride isn't terrible even without weight. Problem with the 887 is you could run into sag due to the weight which the 886 were designed to handle.

I wonder what the difference will be in the height. Really hoping to get close to level without having to mess with the rear

Dakars in rear with 886 up front. No bumper at all just the crush bar. Have IFS, tranny, and transfer case skid and sliders. This is how it sat after hauling wood. First week of getting it on.

Couple weeks later steel bumper on and some snow.

Couple months later with nothing on the rear though.

Gives you an idea of how it is and how it eventually settles

So it really didn't drop any in the front. Looks pretty close to level, mine is 2 inch difference from front to back

domt believe it dropped. Even with the bumper. With the winch now, it has slightly but not really noticeable. You should be about level. I was about level with nothing other than skids and sliders.

Which leaf should i remove to drop the rear a little and make for a slightly softer ride?

Also, rear bumper is in the works right now.

Good advice Oz. That peice is already about 100 lbs. Quarter inch thick metal. I had drill this weekend so nothing was done to it but I plan on having it finished by this weekend. Ill post pics and my little build in the armor section.

Should have just used 1/4 plate instead of that rectangular tube... Would not weigh that much...
