    If you want the full 3" without using any spacers, I would go with the 887s. I would only do the 886s if you planned on adding a bumper or other extra weight. I've had them for about 3 weeks now along with the LR Adjustable UCAs and the setup is perfect for what I needed.

    correction: I was looking at the Bilstein kit and didn't have option for 886's. I can get OME struts and 886's if purchase separately. I am located in NC, moving to NH. I have an avid front bumper trail armor attached…is that ok with 885's/887's?

    would having an AVID front/rear body armor require 886's or would 887's be fine?

    Basically trying to figure out which option is best for mainly a daily driver but some light off road fun
    1. Bilstein 5100 kit with fakers and 885's vs 887's
    2. OME kit with 886's, 90000/N182 struts and dakers

    You'll only want the 886's if you plan on or already have at least 150lbs on the front of the truck like a bumper and winch. I have 886's on now with no bumper and it rides like a brick. Will be ordering my ARB bumper sooner than I thought.

    Yea I could reproduce the noise by pushing the pads one way or the other, they would tap on the retaining pins. Got new pads that were a tighter fit (or just not wore out yet) and they no longer move = no more click

    It seems if I just swap out the 885s for 886s I should be ok. I was worried the struts were valved to soft for 886s but I no longer think this is the case. I will update after talking to low range for advice
