    Depends on the truck, I think mine are starting to show wear so I will be doing something to fix it. I've heard of a boot slide mod that I may try

    I don't think it's too stiff. I think most people do it to get rid of rake

    I have no sway bar, not a super noticeable difference on road, don't drive like a maniac and you should be fine:thumbsup:

    Thanks...how much rake is there actually?

    Glad to hear...hope it wouldn't be an issue with insurance if I was ever involved in a collision.

    FWIW, @Sna, I've experienced NONE of these things with my lift. If you stay below 3" of lift, I doubt you'll have problems.

    Again, no such requirement here. Mine drove perfectly following lift install. Had it aligned anyway because I knew I should. Shop said it aligned perfectly on stock UCAs, and it still drives perfectly.

    That's why my plan is to do those while everything is apart.....but I have been reading about some bushing issues with the LS SPC UCA.

    interesting.....no issues with rubbing (or getting close to) or other potential problems?

    I have no problem with boot angles, or suspension clunks, had a drive line vibration pre lift, post lift it is gone :) so it worked out

    Negative. NO issues at all.

    Every vehicle is different, of course, so YMMV.

    Complete OME with 885s and Dakars is what I'm running but, it's worth noting, I removed the second overload from the Dakars. (Doesn't change front height of CV angles, but does affect drivetrain alignment.)

    I can chime in on that. I have this same set up but with an AAL in the rear. It rides firmer but much better than stock in my opinion. I took the sway bar off when I did mine which allows the front to flex much better off road. In regular street driving I don't notice that its gone except when I'm going around 270 degree turns when getting on the interstate.

    It's not going to compare in anyway to Icon, Fox, or King but for my needs it works well. I'm a casual weekend warrior for the most part. A few rocks and crawling here and there but nothing crazy.

    On another note, I actually ended up with 2.25"-2.5" of lift on these which is more than most people get. I originally had an issue with alignment but found out that my cams were frozen and bushings were shot. I replaced all of this stuff and now they can get it in spec. Also with the AAL I installed there is about an inch of rake. I know I could clear 285's with some cutting and thats the plan in the future. 265's look good from almost all angles except directly from the side and then they look a bit small.

    Initial measurements center of hub when sitting on the ground with tire on with load

    19.5 inches roughly on both sides... One fender on my truck is slightly saggy so its hard to tell exactly.

    Final measurements

    23 passenger
    22&3/4 driver!

    After the alignment the height gained was lost lol. The camber was rasing the truck atleast and extra inch

    Thanks man. I'm planning on sticking with 265s, maybe adding some wheels later on. The only off roading I do is snow and the occasional trip through a pasture or to the happy hunting grounds. I plan on doing the aal in the back just so I can keep a little rake or in case I wanna try to get away with 885s one day. Which aal did you go with? I was looking at toytec's 1.5" single leaf.
