Assuming you never have to swerve at speeds above 15mph, you could be ok without a sway bar.

cool, so my 885's should clear fine

this^ not gonna happen, the truck has been offroad maybe twice in two years, not worth the extra travel in exchange for the safety decrease IMO plus, like i said, no way to remove it until i get access to a plasma cutter, and by that point ill just have the nuts welded in properly and be done with it.

Hey guys, I just discovered that my rear OME shocks are leaking. I'm running Dakar leaf packs, and looking for options. I wasn't overly impressed with the OME shocks so just wondering what you guys are running in the rear as alternatives to the OME ones

I'm eye balling the Fox 2.0s for mine. But my truck never sees off road so seems like a bit of overkill for daily driving purposes

You could always go with the non-resi Fox shocks in the rear.

Are those long enough to run with Dakars?

Dakars bushings.. I'm using oem rubber ones. I see conflicting info on whether or not to grease them. Also, where to grease them, if they are in fact to be greased.
Can someone help me out here?

I got Energy Suspension bushings as my stock ones didn't fit the Dakars like they were supposed to. The stock ones were too small and the leaf packs shifted side-to-side on them causing a clunk going over off-camber bumps. I greased the Energy Suspension ones according to their instructions. I think it's the same for the ARB bushings...grease the bushing and slide them into the eyelets...grease the inside of the bushing and press the metal sleeve in. DO NOT grease the inside of the metal sleeve.

The OEM bushings fit well on my dakars. But the OEM rubber bushings don't have the metal sleeve that you insert like the poly bushings do.
So a little grease on the outside of the bushing is fine to slide it in?

Yep, on the stock bushings that's all you need. Just remember not to put any grease on the inside of the bushing where the bolt will eventually go through.

What is everyone's opinion on the OME rear Nitro shocks vs say, bilstien 5100s? Just got my Dakar and plan on installing them w the OME AAL. Just trying to decide on what shock to pair with. Thanks.

OME if you're adding leafs. 5100's are great. But full OME is better. IMO

    enough to have fun
886s on OME nitro sport fronts w/ trimpacker, Dakars and poly bushings and OME nitro rears

    Also sway bar delete

It looks level, I didn't measure.

Ride: way better than stock, no weight in the bed and not stiff at all. Front feels way more controlled through rough terrain without swaybar. Same amount of body roll as stock in normal driving. maybe even slightly less body roll at low speed turns, but way more body roll at high speed turns.
