If your only want 2" of lift why would you get 887s? Probably better off with 885s or even 884s.
If you get UCAs my preference is TC. If you get 885/884s you probably don't need them.
Diff drops are dumb and I'd wait on the bearing.
    Brake line aren't necessary.

I'd wait until your setup is complete and align it once. Even though the truck may drive well, you wouldn't know what is happening behind the scenes until it's too late if you align it now (e.g. rapid tire wear, uneven tire wear, etc.).

    I'm in a similar situation as A-Zedosky...

I have a 2016 TRD OR Access Cab. I have an ARE MX shell, Sleeping Platform with drawer system, and gear that weighs 600-700# that stays in the back of my truck. It is not my daily driver. It lives in the garage and if I lift it more than 2", it won't fit in the garage. I want upgraded rear suspension to support the weight, but it needs to fit in the garage. I don't mind a 2" lift, but can't go over that. I had a serious rear sag issue, until I installed Firestone Ride Rite airbags with Daystar Cradles. I plan on removing the airbags, don't want the hassle of adding/subtracting air, etc.

My plan is to replace my rear leaf pack with the OME CS047R + D29XL extra leaf. My question is will the full leaf back + extra leaf lift lift my truck more than 2" with a constant load of 600-700#?

I have already purchased Bilstein 6112s for the front, but would like to upgrade the rear shocks when I replace the leaf pack. Any recommendations?

So I had the OME heavy kit installed a few weeks ago and I just recently noticed that one of the bolts for my dakars is too long or something is doing a number on its hanger. IMG_20170417_172416.jpg IMG_20170417_172421.jpgThis is on the passenger's side, on the driver's side it's fine. IMG_20170417_172446.jpgWhat should be done? Could I cut down it down? Yes, I know my truck could use a wash, haha.

I figured it might be that simple, call me what you will for not doing the installation myself but I feel like must have been a reason for the shop to have the bolt facing that way? Seems like it would have been obvious that it would rub that badly.

Ouch! That shackle needs to be able to move in accordance with the load placed on the springs so perhaps a shorter bolt or bend the frame away some. Odd that this is just happening after the install of Dakars and wasn't happening with your OEM leafs o_O

You ain't gonna fit in the garage no more unless you run 260/40 tires :)
The dipshits put it in backwards. Either take it out and flip it (at which point you have completed 50% of lifting the rear yourself) or cut it off.

This is why I do my own shit.

What if I did the full leaf pack + extra leaf and remove the bottom extra overload leaf? I was just speaking with Josh over at Wheeler's and he thinks if I run that setup I shouldn't get more than 2.25-2.5" lift loaded. I measured clearance to get in garage and I've got 3.25"... What do you think?

That's disappointing. One would think they would have noticed during the installation. I guess flipping the bolts on that side would be the best solution then. Should I consider this pretty high priority? I'm kinda living out of my truck at the moment and don't have anywhere to work on it. It seems like the damage has been done.

So it's 3.25" to work with to get in your garage? Probably work but all these trucks are a little different. Going to be close. Might be some pucker factor slowly pulling in the first time after installing the lift :D

Find someone with a reciprocating saw and lop it off. Got and friends with power tools? Where you at? You can come use mine.

Well, that settles it. No way to know until I try! I guess if I have to throw some extra weight in the back to get it in and out of the garage, it wouldn't be the worst. Since I don't drive it everyday or even every week, I could live with that. Thanks for your feedback.

Haha, I appreciate the offer, I'm in Bend, Oregon. I have a slow power steering leak the dealership couldn't diagnose that I'm gonna get checked out by someone else on Friday so I'll just have them flip the bolts.

No and now I am noticing a new problem (or maybe its THE problem) with my passenger front shock. The top center post nut is bolted all the way to the bottom of the threads but the bushing and washer and just hanging out loosey goosey, I can even hear the washer rattle around when I am driving. Hoping I have time this weekend to pull the whole front coil over assembly apart and take a look. Beyond that I still have no idea what is cause my original issues but honestly I've been busy and my truck is not a daily driver.

Thanks for asking though.. I will report back when I know more.

I Just picked up Dakars with OME shocks for the rear gonna install Saturday. I was running a toytec AAL in the rear and its starting to sag. Ive got the toytec coils and top plate spacer in the front. I think it should set well and raise the rear for some rake for towing, because its always sat slightly higher in the front with my camper top and RTT. Any tips for install?
