So you likely have the pads and isolators then. Which route did you go for bushings?

Ah, those are the OME kind. Can't speak to those as I went with the Energy Suspension kind. Mine have been silent since install after greasing the shit out of the bushings.

That's the gray area as to whether you bought the old or new kind of CS047 leafs.

Fluid film in a can and spray it in the cracks. Its worked on mine now and my previous taco as well.

Should be quality stuff. But did you get bushings for both sides of the leaf pack or just one. The bushings that come pressed in on the Dakars by OME are GARBAGE. That's the culprit if you still have those on the leafs.

I'm going to see if I can run 275s on roughly 2". High water in my area is my primary concern. I'm not as concerned about rocks and the like.

I bought the extra set of bushings that they offered, don't remember what color they were. I may try the fluid film suggested a few posts up. It's not a huge deal, but noises in the car just bug me, like rattles and stuff like that. But I only notice it when I get out or when I don't have the radio on and driving slow enough to have no road noise

I hear ya man. The engine tick used to drive me crazy when I first bought the truck. Now I barely notice it with the stereo and all.

Factory top plates work. It's what almost everyone uses. You might want a 1/4" spacer for the drivers side to help get rid of taco lean.

Just finished installing 885s up front and the EL095R leafs on the back, with the OME Nitrochargers. Added 3 inches all around, I figure it'll settle to about 2. Back is 1 inch higher than the front. Haven't driven with them yet.

265/70/17 Duratracs on 4.3" backspace wheels. I got lots of rubbing before the lift and had to remove the little front flap (in front of the front tire). It still rubbed front and back of the wheel well (mostly back) at about half-lock. After the lift, no rubbing, but I presume it'll rub when the suspension is compressed and wheel is turned.

Looking at the same setup except I think i'm going to go with the 886s. The leafs in the back, is it an AAL or a completely new pack?

It's the complete pack, the lighter of the two Dakar choices.

I'm getting an awful clunk from the front end now, some searching shows that it's common for OME lifts. Sounds like the shock making the noise when it fully extends... I'll talk to ARB tomorrow and see what they say.
