How many miles do you have since you installed? And are 885 stock coil weight or increased weight

Less than 100 miles. I have to drive out of my neighborhood over 4 speed bumps, and it made the sound the first time I drove out. 885s are the recommended coils for a stock truck, but they're definitely stiffer than the original coils.

Give it some time, i have the 888 which is the medium lift and tallest spring from OME. My truck settled after about 300 miles, still noticed it clunking every now and then after that. I now have 4000 miles on it and it barely ever happens. Now if i actually put a bumper on like i should i wouldnt have any issues.

Thanks, that's good to hear. I'll give it a few hundred miles to settle down and see what happens.

I'm looking at the 886 but have been seeing that they're really rough. Do you know if the 888 can handle an ARB bumper?

Thanks. Not sure why that company would call 885s stock and 888s medium if they're the same spring rate. What company said this?

So the ones i posted in the last picture were for third gen going from stock, medium, heavy. This is directly off arb website for 2nd gen tacomas. Stock kit utilizes a 885 coil.

Had my suspension installed today. 6112s w/ Eibach 650# springs, JBA UCAs, OME Dakar full leaf pack w/d29xl aal and Bilsten 5100 B110 shocks.

Where to start....With the rear set up above the ass end of the truck is quite high (almost too high). I have a SnugTop Rebel cap and a sleeping platform in the bed all the time but I did the aal because I will have a rear bumper, tire swing out and fuel swing out in a month and then next year the cap goes for a bed rack, RTT, fridge and gear. I will measure and take pictures later this week.

Installed the 6112s and 650# Springs on the 4th notch- HOLY MOTHER OF it is high (not almost as above, but actually too high). I did not get solid before measurements but I'm looking at just under 4" of lift in the front. I know the 650# springs are stiffer than the 600# ones that come with the 6112 kit but DAMN it's almost like they're installed incorrectly. I put the 650# springs in because I'm doing a CBI aluminum bumper, winch, aluminum skids and slider right away and wanted to compensate for the extra weight. I should have gone with my gut and put them on the 3rd not but because it's so high I may need to drop it to the 2nd notch. I have no idea why it's so high and I'll be addressing that this week.

Ran to the garage to grab a couple pics...

Drive it around and flex it out. It will settle some and it will drop more when you put 200# of stuff up front.

I realize that it will settle some but it seems extra high (almost 4" of lift), which I think it too high even for when it will settle.

I guess it depends on how much lift you want when it's all done. I think you could see settling of .5". With bumper and winch on about another .5". I drove around at almost 4" lift when I installed my BP51's. After 2 weeks I was about 3.5" after skids and sliders 3.25". I realize you have different shocks but my point is that if you can wait till it's all together than you can make final adjustments.
