I'm going with just about the same setup as you but i'm going to suck up the rough ride and throw the lift on then worry about a front bumper haha

Mostly just better. Marie gives her best price with free shipping everyday. Toytec will cut you a deal if you ask for one or if they get called out in public. I like straight forward retailers.

I'm open to either option. They show up as out of stock currently on Headstrong's site so I may give them a call this week. I've ordered from both HS and Toytec and had excellent customer service with both companies

I just saw that you are in Maryland. Give backwoods Overland a call. The owner Nick is a good dude.

I unfortunately don't use Facebook. Tried googling with no luck, do they have a website?

    Hey guys,

Ive been running OME nitrochargers all around for a year. I changed from 887 + dakar to 886 + dakar with AAL 3 or 4 months ago to handle the weight of my truck better. I've been finding the ride really bouncy and all over the place. Noticed my front right strut is pissing oil out, and allowing my truck to over extend it's travel on the left side, which has destroyed my UCA boot (spc LR UCA's). I'm a bit disappointed that they only lasted a year, and the ride quality just isn't awesome. Way better than stock, but still nothing amazing.

I'm trying to figure out if I should just replace the struts with new nitrochargers, 5100s, or move to a better set up that will keep up with all of the weight and how much my wife and I use our truck (I was quite budget restricted originally, and didn't realize how into camping we would get!)

I've been looking at BP-51's or King extended travel. I'm trying to figure out what would be better for me; the extra inch or so of travel from the Kings or the internal bypass ride of the BP-51's. I don't know anybody with either to get a feel for it. I'm also concerned that the 600lb spring in the BP-51's won't be enough? I don't really care about lift height, as long as I can keep clearance for my tires.

I am running 35s with winch, bumpers, sliders, fridge, canopy, RTT, drawers etc etc.

    any opinions?

I've been running BP51's for about 4 months now. They are pretty awesome. My only complaint is the adjustment of them. They come preset to give around 2-2.5" of lift to a truck with bumper and winch. I have about 3" of lift up front with steel skids and sliders. The ride is great.

Thanks for the input! So you adjusted them up to 3 or the stock adjustment ended up like that? Do you find the ride soft? I'm worried that 600# springs won't give enough support. If I got kings I would get the 700# springs. I got to quickly test drive the arb demo 2016 Tacoma around a parking lot, and the bp51s felt so controlled and stable, but I didn't go over anything too bumpy or go faster than 40km/h.

I guess the benefit of internal bypass means you can run sister spring rate?

You can make them super soft by adjusting the compression. My buddy has them on his truck as well, he has a bumper and winch up front a Renton the roof an runs without a swaybar no problem. He just turns the compression up for long trips down the highway. They come preset from ARB for a truck with 200 pounds of extra weight at the bumper.
Here's a couple threads to read.

Question about a first gen OME lift issue. Got the 881 and Dakar kit. Things went fairly smooth for install. Got it all together and ended up getting a huge amount of rake. The rear is sitting about 3.5 inches higher than the front. Considered taking a leaf out but was told by the vendor I bought from not to and to wait several months for it to settle. Truck has stock bumpers and such.

Any suggestions on what I might do to loose some of the rake?

Check Out My Build Thread :)
I have a 2016 DCSB with CBI dual swing arm rear bumper, Full size spare, 2 jerry cans and Snug Top Cap... I have a good deal on a used set of Dakar leafs without the add a leaf and will be paired with my current 2.5 external res kings... I'm thinking I'll be right around the 300lb mark of consistent weight... I don't plan on adding more weight other than for trips etc should I be fine with the leaf pack as is or should I add the extra leaf from OME? I'm thinking I'll be fine but would like to get some more experienced/actual user input...
