    That chart assumes 200 pounds on top of the 886 where the 887 assumes stock.

    Now I'm wondering if I should try running 888s on my 2015... I'm running 887s now, but since adding my Pelreybilt aluminum bumper, ifs skid, and SOS sliders, I've lost at least a 1/2" up front.

    I've been kicking around the idea of adding a 1/4" spacer to get my 1/2" back. I've also thought about 886s, but I'm worried they'll be stiff, since I probably only have 100ish lbs on the front.

    888s might give me that extra 1/2" (or so) back, without adding a top plate spacer or jumping up to the stiffer 886 springs.

    What do y'all think?

    This and that...
    That would be my choice. Longer spring over the stiffer one. Would wouldn't have to worry as much about changing ride characteristics. Just worry about the shock extension. Just may max it out over fast bumps more often.

    I like my 886s but I have close to 200lbs. I'd top plate spacer it first and see if you like it since its cheaper than new coils.
    The shock eye bushing?

    I was recommended the ome 885x coils which I can't find anywhere. I have seen members here who had them listed any clue where they can be found and info on them?

    All OME coils are the 'x' version now. Happened a few years back.

    Whelp, split decision... Guess that means I breakdown and buy some Fox or Kings adjustable haha!

    Top plates is what I was kinda leaning towards, just because of the cost factor.

    I am also running the softer OME front shocks and I think I remember that they aren't recommended with the 886s. That sound right?

    Lol. I have one of each. Going over speed bumps is funny. The softer ones work fine. As a matter of fact I would have purchased the softer ones from the get go if I was doing it over. YMMV

    Thanks Matt now just have to figure the rest out. I'm going to do the dakars hd set with bilstein in the rear. 885's with 9000's I guess in the front. I don't care if a little ass high but thinking when I build the fronts maybe put thectrimpacker in it and 1/4" top plates just to bring the front up a little more. I'm sure it may drop a little when I put the skids and sliders back on this one

    Do the top plates require disassembly of the coilover or do they get added to top of built coilover?

    Help! Truck going in at 2pm and need some last minute alignment tips from people with similar OME setup to me.

    I have a 2011 longbed with the following setup:

    FRONT:
    OME nitrocharger sport shocks
    OME 885 coils
    Toytec top plate spacers (1/2- 3/4in lift)
    Light Racing UCAs
    Diff drop

    REAR:
    Dakars in rear
    OME rear shocks

    TIRES:
    285/75/16 Toyo Open Country AT II

    I have read several alignment threads and still need some tips from those with similar lift to me.

    1. What should I aim for caster wise? With approx 3 in OME lift, LR UCAs, 33s some were saying around 2.4 degrees would be optimum caster while others recommended closer to 3 degrees.

    2. Is camber and toe at 0 degrees front and rear good for my setup? Just ask tech to get as close to zero on both as possible?

    3. What are people's opinions on techs setting slightly different specs from left to right to account for road crown? Should I ask for as even as possible both sides or does road crown adjust make sense?

    Attached photo is what I ended up with today after alignment. Really happy with how it drives so far. On highway it tracks real nice and steering is very responsive with no wander or any negatives I can feel so far at various highway speeds up to 85mph. Gave tech what ballparks I wanted for caster, camber and toe. With LR UCAs they could have probably gotten more caster closer to 3 degrees, but I like how it is right now so far. Maybe next alignment I will find a better shop that specializes in alignments and shoot for a bit more caster. Gave him LR adjustment instructions. Only issue I have is he said he didn't do much adjusting at upper control arms but rather at lower arms. Does anyone see any issues with that?

    Camber and toe up front didn't seem to suffer as a result unless I am missing something...

    Not sure if what they did in the rear is good, but it's driving nice so that's a good sign!
