Does either require extended brake lines?

No too tight. Many folks leave it especially if you aren't off reading hard. You can always add them later.
Over speedbump goes clunk. Happens with some nitrochargers paired with OME springs. When the suspension unloads quickly the internal stop mechanism in the shock is hit making a clunk. It's why many folks pair OME springs with 5100s instead.

Gotcha. I guess I need to make a choice. Will you get the same ride height from both? Want to get as close to 3in as possible. Want to run ridgegrappler 275/70r18 and going with the new 888coil. Would you say setting the 5100 to .85 is ok to get a little more height out of it, or would you just add 1/4 spacers on both sides of the front? Along with the plate that comes to level out the lean ?

Nice. Whats your wheel/tire size and offset? Also would Dakars yield more lift?

The springs do the lifting not the shocks. 5100s should be set to 0 with OME springs. Like you said, add some spacers if you want more lift. FWIW I have 2.5" of lift for 315s so your 3" should be plenty.

Ok, thanks. So if I went with 888shocks with bilsteins and the full leaf, would that settle pretty close to 3in? Or would I need to add spacers, if so, where? (new to this)

Yes. Just remember when you get up around 3" it is recommended to get new UCAs.

Ok. I was going to add the light racing UCA with either package OME or 5100.

Would spacers be needed? Even if not 'needed' and wanted to get a little more, would you just add two 1/4in to the front?

I wouldn't do spacers but that's just me. 1/4" would work though.

Idk if you have a 2nd or 3rd Gen, but 3 inches might be a stretch (on 3rd Gen).
Be mindful with spacers not to over extend your shocks, and also be mindful of your CV angles. (I can't recall but I think it was in this thread, a few pages ago, someone overdid it a bit with spacers on both sides)

Ok I'll try to find it. 3rd gen 2018.

Wouldn't 888springs and 5100 put it close to 3 though?

Please take under consideration that 3rd gen sits already 1 inch higher than a then a second gen suspension. because of that that 3-inch over stock it's not really safe/recommend on 3rd gens.

Unless we are talking about 3 in total lift , which will put you two inches Over stock on your 3rd Gen. I know, I think I just made it more confusing than it should be, LOL
