Nah, I should be good there. I really liked the look of a dudes truck and his front was ~39”. So just curious if that setup can accomplish it.

Looking for suggestions on what coil to run with the nitrocharger 9000 for my setup. I want around 2+" of lift without going over 2.5".
Extra weight= Front&Tranny skid (1/4" aluminum), Rock Sliders (steel) and tons of weight in the back with bedrack/rtt. I have a 1.5" lift spring pack from Deaver for the rear. I can't decide on whether to go with the 884 or 885. Thanks

    Definitely 885s. I got about 1.75" with my 884s.

Anyone with the OME setup with 888 coils? Were you able to get close to 3in?

Noob Question regarding OME 888 vs 887 on a DCSB Sport 2WD.
I'm going with 5100's all around and debating if I should go 888 or 887 in the front. I've heard that since I'm 2WD, the truck is lighter and with 888's that the ride will be considerably stiffer than stock.
My issue is that I do want to achieve about 3 inches in lift (purely cosmetic) but not at the cost of ride quality.
If anyone has a 2WD with the 5100/888 set up, any input is appreciated.

Here is my ride height after ~120 pounds added to the 887's. I can't decide if I'll bother adding 1/2" and 1/4" spacers or not. The driver's side is fairly low.

Not sure why the horrible quality. My iphone's lens must have been fogged over from the humidity.

They did the install yesterday. Took them about 4 hours (plus the time getting the alignment done which was included in the cost but done by an outside shop).

I am kind of disappointed in the amount of lift I got (less than 2" in front and about 2 1/2" in the rear). I did before and after "center of hub to fender lip" measurements and got this amount of lift:

    Driver side front: +1 3/4"
    Pass side front: +1 3/8"
    Driver side rear: +2 1/4"
    Pass side rear: +2 3/4"

Comparing side to side after the lift, front passenger side is only 1/8" higher than driver side. Strangely, the rear passenger side is 1 1/8" higher than driver side.

No squeaks or vibrations felt while driving the truck. Ride is firmer, but I wanted it to be because I felt the truck was really kind of "floaty" feeling with the stock suspension. It feels much better controlled now. I think it looks better, but it is sure not a dramatic difference.

It is pretty subtle with OME. The big transformation is when you put on the bigger tires.

Exactly. 265/75/16 will give you an additional 1/2" of ride height over your stock SR5 tires @michaeln

Noticeable difference from when you had the stock front bumper on. I'd put in the top hats.

What number is written on the springs? Is it possible that the springs aren't the 887's you ordered? Everywhere I've read, the estimates on Headstrongs website were spot on and you should have gotten 2.25" gain. I would guess that those are 885's.

I have 265/70R17 tires on it. I took it out this morning on some fairly rough FS roads and it settled some.

    New measurements:

    Front Driver 22 1/2
    Front Passenger 22 3/4
    Rear Driver 24 3/8
    Rear Passenger 24 1/2

So only about 1 1/8" lift in the front and 2 3/8 in the rear. Truck is stock except for the tonneau cover, wheels, tires, and this OME suspension.

This is the way it looks.

Dunno. I did not install them or look at them before they were installed. Where would the number be written on the coils? I wonder if it is visible with them installed on the truck.

No sticker on these. Installer probably took it off. I would have.

The whole reason for doing this $2K version of the lift instead of a $500 version using spacers / blocks is that I firmly believe that if you want a vehicle to ride higher, you do it with stronger springs, not solid spacers. I had seen the chart from headstrongoffroad and that is why I was expecting around 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 inches of lift.

Not gonna "throw some pucks on top" after going with the way more expensive option to avoid them.

I am an old fart and can live with the disappointment.

Lol. You realize adding the 10mm top hat spacer doesn't affect ride quality and is very often utilized when doing these lifts right?

I think that looks perfect, but I'm going for this stance. Wow, that looks good!

If I recall, the numbers are actually printed on the coils in yellow (maybe not). Also, doublecheck your order to make sure you ordered 2887's. If you ordered from Marie, she may have some insight on the lift difference too.
