He was. I found that out awhile back. The new person I worked with (forgot his name) was just as helpful.

Are there washers or something that should be between the leafpack & hanger?

My bushings seem to have worn out and as a result, there is a clanking sound when I go over bumps. Like metal on metal.

If you get polys they usually come with sleeves. And BTW, replace them with poly :D

I currently have these installed and have a second set ready for replacement: .

Are you recommending that I use these instead? Nevermind...I reread the page after being well rested. I’ll get the yellow ones

Alright guys I'm driving myself nuts trying to pick out the front springs for the setup I want. I've decided to get the OME nitrocharger firm shocks but i can't decide whether to go with the 884 or 885 coils?
My end goal is to lift the front as close to 2" as possible. According to the chart from headstrong the lift heights for my truck are 884=2" and 885=2.5". My truck is a DCSB 2012 with full aluminum skids and stock bumper and tons of rear weight. I'll be pairing this setup with Deaver +1.5" leaf pack / OME shocks. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also do you guys recommend using the OME trim packer on the driver side?

When I had 884s I got about 1.75" with steel skids.

Definitely trim packer regardless of which springs you get.

I'll find an old picture for you.

Cool thanks for the pic! What lift size did you have in the rear in this pic?

The height differences between the 2 are what's killing me and they're so close. I'm worried about the 885 being to tall when I have the back loaded down with only the +1.5" lift and the 884 just not being enough. I am trending toward getting the 884 because it sounds like I will have at least 1.75" of front lift with that combo. I also do have steel sliders but skids are aluminum for now.

Well swapping out springs only takes a few hours and their relatively inexpensive so if you're unhappy with whatever you get, change them out.

Has anyone painted their coil springs using rocker guard instead of powdercoating? Will it effect how it sits in the spring buckets? Thx tw.

Im contemplating color matched coil springs and red shock bodies.

That last photo makes me think that you have a torn cv boot.
