You should measure center hub to bottom of the flair so its relevant regardless of tire size. Looks good though.

welp. After months and months of research and saving money, i pulled the trigger on a full OME 887 set up with Dakars and LR UCA.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS to me!

Looking at the heavy Dakars as well. Did they settle to this level after a while?

Take two clamps. Clamp the pack. Undo bolt. Undo clamps. Remove leaf. Clamp the pack. Tighten the bolt.

Well, in that picture I have around 20k miles on those dakars. The tent and bed rack have been up there for 15k in that picture. Once it was put on it's never been taken off. I have been offroading at least 9 times this year. With the tent probably 7.

The will eventually sag, but they still are not level. I'm still noticeably higher in the back

Last week I bought an OME kit from Headstrong with 887 coils and an aal for the rear. Can't wait to get it installed.

It'll work for any of the leafs. When you unclamp it, all the leafs are loose. At that point take whichever one you want out.

I have my suspension kit coming today and I'm remembering that it did not include new U bolts with the aal. It's the Deaver single aal, can anyone tell me if I'll have enough thread on the stock U bolts to fit the aal? Thanks

It's good practice to get new ones when swapping. They're like $15.

I would tend to agree, but these are only 6 months old and if they're long enough I dont see a need to replace, unless there is a danger I'm unaware of with using the stock bolts with an added leaf. I guess a better way to put it would be "What did people who are using a single aal do?"

Edit: does anyone have a link for u bolts that I would need for just the aal? If they're truly that cheap I will replace them, but all I see are $50+ pairs of them. I also dont want to get the wrong length and have tons of thread hanging down.

Added a single AAL from wheeler's off road about a month ago. I reused the same factory u bolts and so far no problems. I have a 2017 off road.

When mine are too long I lop them off with an angle grinder.

Been doing a lot of research but would really appreciate some input before I pull the trigger. Have a 2013 DCSB that I'm shooting for ~2.5" lift. Currently the truck has sliders and a plate rear bumper. No plans for anything on the front. I'll also be getting a RTT next year. No real towing.

I'm thinking 90021 struts and the heavy duty dakars. The coils particularly are confusing me though... Since it is just the sliders adding any weight to the front, should I go with the 885s so it isn't too stiff? Thats not a ton of weight on the back day-to-day with a little additional on the front due to the sliders. Am I over-shooting the rear and under-shooting the front so that it could push the backend way up in comparison?

That is what I would go with. 885s up front, HD for the rear.

Have the same setup with 886s in the front though. I’m planning one day to get a bumper but have the same stuff in the rear as you. I’m planning to go with the HD leafs.
