Excellent, thank you both for the input.

Going to hit up HS and place the order. Let the wait begin!

I'm seeing conflicting answers on how many ft/lbs of torque to apply to U bolts. The torque spec sheet seems to say 37, videos I've watched say 85, and a lot of TW people seem to be saying 70 or 75. Can anyone help me find a definitive answer? Thanks

ARB reccomends OEM torque specs if I’m not mistaken. There should be a torque spec sheet floating around here for your truck. And 37 seems low to me for the u-bolts, but 85 seems right.

37 is a misprint. Supposed to be 73.

    I use 85 myself

Thank you, 73 sounds like OEM spec and 85 seems to be the high end of what people consider acceptable so I will go somewhere on that range. Thanks!

So is it possible for me to get 2.5” of lift out of an OME lift? 2015 DCSB stock at the moment but plan is ARB bumper/synthetic lined winch, full metal skies, and sliders. 90000 with 886? It seems the numbers are kind of all over the place with ARB saying 2.5” with 200lbs over stock. I’m mainly afraid I’ll be below 2.5”. I’m not going to lie, I just enjoy the look of that height.

Sorry to be blowing this thread up but I'm just trying to get prepared for this lift install Saturday. I'm confused about whether or not it matters which side of the coilovers is pointing outboard, I watched a video where the installer said to point the "old man emu" stamping on the shock body in the outboard direction, but on mine it's not clear which side to point outboard since the stamping occupies like 50% of the circumferance. Does it matter which side points outboard? I know I will have to use a pry bar or something to turn the strut piston to align it with its slot in the lower control arm so even if I start with the stamping pointing outboard, I may have to turn it to mate it with its slot in the LCA. If anyone who has some experience can help me figure this out I'd really appreciate it.

Shouldn’t matter which way they point. Sounds like he wants everyone to know what brand he is running

I think they just wanted the label to face out so people would know what brand it was

Thanks, it's just good to get some consensus since this will be my first stab at suspension work.

Ok TacomaWorld OME guru's, I need your advice. I recently got a RTT setup on bed bars (so excited to camp above the ground now!) and my bed is mostly empty. About 5 months ago I got a set of ELO95s when I replaced l my shocks. I love the ride but I'm concerned about the appearance of the springs and the fact they bottom out with just the RTT. I'm afriad to load up my gear and take any trails.

Also, how do my overload springs look? Would the OME AAL help in my case?

Just did a lift with JBA UCAs and 265/70/17 kos + 4runner wheels. It's like 4" of lift all around now, will be adding bumpers in a month or two. Castor during alignment was +2.

It's rubbing on the passenger side UCA when turning hard. Wondering how to fix that ? Wheel spacers ?

My pack looks about the same and I’m planning on HD Dakars to support my RTT and the constant weight.

I'm hoping this pack is still good and I can just add the OME leaf to make it like the 96 pack.

I’m currently running the Headstrong Progressive AAL (3 leafs) with the TSB OEM pack, if that helps anymore.

Wheel spacers, new wheels, or just deal with it. My 35s rub mine at full lock.
