If you're going to do the work, not much. The cam bolts are like $60 but the rest is just making it happen. And of course alignment cost.
Leave it off if you wheel. The 886s are stiff enough to prevent a lot of body roll and you'll get more articulation without it. Just remember to run over Fido instead of swerving when he runs out in front of you.

That's some shitty luck! But yeah, best to just ride it out.

I haven't had my sway bar on for about 7 years, no issues.

Ok so what I’ve done now is
    [IMG]

Only have removed the blue. Green and upper overload are both back in. Significant axle wrap with the upper overload and green leaf out. Would not reccoment taking out the upper overload out. Ride height is good with weight in the bed. Might need to add the blue back in for the complete original leaf pack. Then it could handle all the weight I put in it.

So you tried a bunch of different variations and ended up back using the original pack? Good for science, thanks!

there should be a little "gold" spacer ring at the bottom of one of those springs.

I had the same thought initially, cause i was expecting a bigger spacer (more noticeable). But alas. It's worked fine on mine

enough to fit 285 tires. And so it will sit level. It has a flat bed on it that I don't know the weight of. Getting Dakar leaf pack for back.

Well you can fit 285s with a lift but with Dakars in the back you 885s or 887s depending on how high you want to be.

    2006 Tacoma access cab TRD
    Hello Tacomaworld,
I've been lurking on this thread for weeks, just received a full OME kit with the following, which I plan to install on my '06 TRD access cab 4.0 6 spd. this weekend:
    - OME 9000 shocks
    - 885 coils (pre-assembled with shocks)
    - trim packer for driver side
    - SPC/light racing UCA's
    - Moog lower control arms with OEM Toyota bolts/adjustment bushings
    - diff drop kit
    - carrier bearing drop kit
    - 3 degree axle shims
    - Full Dakar HD leaf pack (both are -)
    - rear nitrocharger shocks

A lot of the equipment that was attached to the rust-prone frame from 2006-2015 was in pretty rough shape, so I figured it made sense to go ahead and replace both UCA's and LCA's while I'm tearing into everything. I assume I should start off with the LCA replacement then proceed to shock/spring, then UCA?

I have a 120lb. plate bumper on the front - no winch and no plans for one in the near future. I figured I would upgrade to 886's if I do get a winch.
I will be adding a rear plate bumper soon - stock is rusted from being attached to old, rusty frame that was replaced by Toyota in 2015.
The Truck goes camping and gets loaded down with gear.
    I haul firewood occasionally.
I plan to add a cap, perhaps. rooftop tent in the next year or so.

I'm currently running stock size (265/70-16) Hankook AT/m's with only 5,000 or so miles on them. I was planning to get 265/75-16's or 235/85-16's when I'm due for replacement tires, but didn't want the truck to be high enough to look weird with the stock size tires. Will I have a lot of rake with the 885/ Dakar HD combo? Did I mess up not getting 886's? Should I remove a leaf until I add the additional weight to the rear end? Am I missing anything else before I tackle this?

Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions.

    Mike
